With Genshin Impact Spiral Abyss getting progressively harder with every version, it’s no surprise if some players choose to resort to using meta team comps to beat the end-game challenge. For instance, the Morgana team comp in Genshin Impact is still one of the most powerful, along with the everlasting Hu Tao Vaporize.

Unsurprisingly, the meta slowly expands with more available characters, especially with the existence of Dendro in version 3.0. Sadly, Dendro doesn’t really synergize with Anemo, so the two Elements aren’t commonly paired for an Elemental reaction. Despite all that, though, Swirl is still a highly powerful reaction, and the Sukokomon team comp in Genshin Impact is a good example of it.

What Is The Sukokomon Team Composition In Genshin Impact?

what is the sukokomon team composition in genshin impact

The Sukokomon team comp in Genshin Impact plays around the idea of creating a Swirl chaos. To do this, players need a Hydro enabler, Electro enabler, and Pyro enabler all at the same time. After deploying all three Elements, use an Anemo character to Swirl all the Elements together. This will create endless reactions which include Hydro/Electro/Pyro Swirl, Electro-charged, Overloaded, and Vaporize all at the same time.

Sukokomon Team Comp Characters

The Sukokomon team comp originally consisted of Kokomi + Fischl + Xiangling + Sucrose. However, now that there are more off-field enablers and on-field drivers, players can use other characters while maintaining the Swirl-chaos idea.

Anemo Swirl

The original Anemo driver for the Sukokomon team comp in Genshin Impact is Sucrose, but now players can use other units like Shikanoin Heizou or Wanderer. Both characters are Anemo-Catalyst like Sucrose, although they each have their own unique features. In terms of DPS, Wanderer is the most ideal for this position since he has a high scaling and can reliably dish out Anemo DMG in a decent AoE. However, Sucrose can offer a massive Elemental Mastery bonus, which should also be considered since Sukokomon focuses on Elemental Reactions.

Hydro Enabler

Kokomi applies Hydro every once in a while via her Elemental Skill, and she can heal and deal damage while doing this. However, as she’s a 5-star healer that may be inaccessible to many Travelers, she can be replaced with other prominent Hydro units like Xingqiu, Yelan, or Ayato.

Pyro Enabler

Unlike the other slots that have alternatives, the only viable Pyro enabler for the Sukokomon team is Xiangling. As of version 3.7, there are no other reliable off-field Pyro units like the Liyue Chef.

Electro Enabler

For the Electro enabler, Fischl is excellent not only for her damage potential and great off-field damage dealing but also for the fact that Oz can deal extra Electro damage along with the main DPS’ attacks (with Constellation). This means she has higher Electro enabling ability than other Electro sub-DPS. However, players can also opt for other units like Kuki Shinobu, Lisa, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, or Beidou.

Players should use Kuki Shinobu for survivability if there’s no healer yet, Lisa if she has high Constellation, or Raiden Shogun to quickly restore the team’s Energy.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
