There are a lot of secrets hidden in Genshin Impact, and the number will only increase with every update released by miHoYo. The story slowly unfolds with the major Archon Quests that come with each new version; with the release of the 2.1 update, Genshin Impact has reached Chapter 2, Act 3. However, other than the Archon Quests, plenty of lore and secrets can be found in the open world.
For example, the fate of the Higi Village inhabitants. The people of this village suffer a tragic ending where they slowly die of an unknown illness. The full story is hidden in several secret quests and achievements that can easily be missed if a player sticks solely to the Archon Quests.
How To Get The Stranding Of Beagle Hidden Achievement
In Genshin Impact 2.1, players can also find more secret achievements. One of them is The Stranding of Beagle. To get this achievement, players have to follow the footsteps of an unknown researcher in Watatsumi Island. To do so, they need to investigate a notebook in five different spots. Here are the locations of all the notebooks.
North Of Mouun Shrine
For the first location, players have to teleport to the
Statue of the Seven in Watatsumi Island
. Then, they should walk north until they reach the shore. There will be a tent with a notebook to investigate.
Northwest Of Sangonomiya Shrine
Next, use the
Teleport Waypoint north of Sangonomiya Shrine
. The second notebook can be found on top of wooden crates. Players might have to defeat some enemies in the camp before investigating the item.
Suigetsu Pool
The third spot is located in Suigetsu Pool. The notebook can be found on the ground, between the
Suigetsu Pool puzzle
. Players can use the domain as a shortcut to access this notebook. Solving the puzzle is also highly recommended as it grants a Luxurious Chest as a reward.
Southeast Of Suigetsu Pool
After investigating the Suigetsu Pool notebook, players need to
teleport southeast
. The fourth notebook is a short walk from the Teleport Waypoint.
East Of Bourou Village
Lastly, players can use the Teleport Waypoint east of Bourou Village. This notebook also serves as a hint to the puzzle next to it. The
rotating cube puzzle
is sudoku-like and can be solved using the elimination method.The puzzle will change after finishing it. In total, people can solve this puzzle three times. Players will get
two Exquisite Chests
and
one Precious Chest
from the rotating cubes.After finding all five notebooks, players will get
The Stranding of Beagle achievement
. This achievement grants five Primogems as a reward. A decent prize for a small amount of effort.
