Tall, majestic, powerful. The statues of the seven are iconic landmarks throughout miHoYo's Genshin Impact. They act as many things for players: a safe haven, memorable locations, upgrade stations, and more. The statues of the seven represent the seven gods that currently rule over the nations of Tevyat, bestowing powers upon the player character when interacted with.
The statues of the seven in Genshin Impact are worshipping places for the characters in the game as well as the player. When offered certain items, the player can receive bonuses in return. With plenty of statues of the seven to discover throughout Tevyat, there is plenty to learn about them through the game's lore and story.
10 They're Holy Structures Essential For Worship
The statues of the seven are revered works of art, but they're more than that too. They're worshipping places for their nation's inhabitants, with each type of statue reflecting one of the seven elements: Pyro, Cryo, Electro, Geo, Ameno, Hydro, and Dendro. For elemental users who have been given the vision, these statues are holy places of worship. Elemental users find these places peaceful and sacred, as well as a place to hone their abilities.
9 They're Representatives of the Archons
The reason the statues of the seven are revered so much is because they're depictions of Tevyat's gods: the archons. This pantheon of elemental beings each holds dominion over one of the seven nations in the world of Genshin Impact. Each nation has multiple statues of their devoted archon, with two types of statues currently available for players to discover in-game.
Ameno and Geo statues of the seven exist throughout Tevyat. They represent the Ameno archon Barbatos and the Geo archon Morax. Both archons have human vessels that are playable characters in the game.
8 Fill In The Map For Players
By interacting with statues of the seven for the first time, the map of the world will reveal itself around the statue that the player has touched. This is a quick way to fill up the map and make sure the player is finding every location available to them. Players can currently discover all the statues for Mondstadt and Liyue, whereas the statues in other regions are blocked by a wind barrier until further updates.
7 Ten Statues To Be Discovered
As the open world of Genshin Impact grows and grows, so too does the number of statues of the seven. With each nation revealed, players are able to discover more and more statues. Currently, players are able to locate ten statues throughout Tevyat in the two regions released so far: Mondstadt and Liyue. Future updates will add more regions and statues to the game, which will all correlate with different elements and archons.
6 Another Way To Fast Travel
While there are waypoints scattered throughout Tevyat, players can also use statues of the seven as additional teleportation devices. They're a quick way to fast-travel around the map when players don't have the time to walk to and from far away locations. Fast travel allows players to bounce to faraway locations, letting players complete multiple tasks with ease. This also helps when players find oculi and aren't currently near any statues of the seven.
5 They Serve As A Healing Spot
The statues of the seven have powerful healing abilities. They're potentially able to restore the player and all their active party members' health to the maximum, depending on the statue's personal health reserve of fifty-thousand HP. The statues also have the ability to revive allies knocked out during combat.
The statues' health reserves restore five hundred HP every couple of seconds. Players are fully restored after twenty-five minutes. Players should try their best to use the health reserves sparingly, as all the statues take from the same pool of health.
4 A Change Of Pace
When the player encounters a statue of the seven for the first time, they unlock the ability to use that archon's representative element. Currently, only Ameno and Geo are unlocked for the player to choose from. These elements allow the player to unleash powers of the wind and the earth respectively, to aid them in battle. As the game is updated and chapters are revealed, more elements will become unlockable for players to use.
3 Personal Upgrade Station
The statues of the seven also serve as a station for players to upgrade their characters using oculi: special items specific to elements that can be found around Tevyat. Players use oculi to upgrade statues of the seven, which in turn give rewards to the player to upgrade their characters. It's a give-and-take relationship between the player and the archon they are worshipping by donating oculi.
2 They Currently Offer Few Co-Op Interactions
When playing online in co-op mode, Genshin Impact players aren't allowed to interact with the statues of the seven. They can't activate new statues to reveal areas of the map. Players are also not able to make offerings or donations to their host's statues of the seven.
One of the few interactive options available to co-op players is the healing provided that the statues can provide. While the amount of healing done cannot be set, the statue's ability to heal players still works online.
1 Many More To Be Discovered In The Future
While there are only ten statues of the seven to be discovered in the game, and only Anemo and Geo-related statues throughout the world, many more will be available soon. Genshin Impact is constantly updating. Every huge update unveils a new land for players to explore, thus and new statues for them to discover. While only two kinds of statues can be found in-game now, soon there will be up to seven kinds strewn about Tevyat.
