Song of Night and Dawn is a Genshin Impact Achievement that can be obtained after players finish the Aranyaka main questline and save Nara. At the end of the World Quest, players will unlock the final area of the 3.0 Sumeru called Old Vanarana.

While roaming around Old Vanarana, people may come across some Pyro Abyss Mages near an altar of flames. Putting out these flames in several locations will eventually grant players a Luxurious Chest along with the Song of Night and Dawn Achievement in Genshin Impact.

To get the Song Of Night And Dawn Achievement in Genshin Impact, players must visit the seven marked spots in Old Vanarana and extinguish the torches. Each torch will be accompanied by a Pyro Abyss Mage, and defeating the enemy is optional.

All seven spots are located on the surface, so players simply need to use the Statue of the Seven in the area, and walk to the marked places.

Once all seven fires are put out, go back to the Statue of the Seven and beat the Pyro Abyss Lector. Remember to put characters that can easily remove their Pyro shield. Players can use Elements like Cryo, Electro, Geo, and Anemo, but the most effective option would clearly be Hydro. Units like Genshin Impact Xingqiu and Yelan are especially great thanks to their top-tier Hydro application.

Once the Pyro Lector is defeated, a Luxurious Chest will spawn as a reward. Players will get the Song of Night and Dawn Achievement, which is worth five Primogems. Meanwhile, the Genshin Impact Chest grants some extra:

  • Primogems x10
  • Adventure EXP x30
  • Dendro Sigils x4

While following this task, an unknown Aranara will speak to the players. They talk of how the Old Vanarana is slowly recovering from its corrupted state, but some entities wish to ruin that by lighting wicked flames. To stop the land from dying again, the Aranara asks the protagonist to spoil the plan by putting out all the torches in seven different locations.

After extinguishing the seventh flame, an Abyss Lector will speak along with the Aranara. The Lector talks about how memories can’t simply be reversed or changed, to which the Aranara bravely replies with the fact that they will not forget, but they simply won’t let the memories return to the earth.

For those who are in the dark, this is a reference to the Marana or The Withering in Genshin Impact. It is said that Marana is caused by the memory of death, where the earth would live happily until they remember death, to which they’ll start to wilt and die. The Withering is said to have the power to turn green lands into deserts.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
