Genshin Impact's developer appears to have put a lot of effort into Inazuma, as the islands have different puzzles for players to figure out. In Tsurumi, they will find a new version of the Relay Stone puzzle, along with a new Ishine Script puzzle. Ishine Script is related to the tribe that once inhabited the island ages ago, before the Thunderbird caused them to perish.

Octave Of The Maushiro In Genshin Impact

Using the Peculiar Pinion in Genshin Impact

Through the Mists is a new time-gated questline in Tsurumi Island. Players shouldn't procrastinate with this quest because it'll cause them to be behind on content.

On the second day of the quest, Sumida asks the Traveler and Paimon to go back to Tsurumi Island. There, they will meet Ruu. Ruu teaches the Traveler how to use the Peculiar Pinion, a feather of the Thunderbird. After that, Ruu went missing and Traveler ended up having to find Ruu. To find the boy, players have to solve the mystery of the stones with the Peculiar Pinion.

How To Solve The Mystery Of The Stones

Following Electro Seelie

To solve the mystery of the stones, players have to use the Peculiar Pinion near the Thunderbird Statue. An Electro Seelie will spawn and quickly fly away and players have to follow this Seelie. Remember to keep a keen eye on the creature, as it moves really fast and travelers can easily lose track of it.

Ishine Script Stone sequence

After a little chase, the Seelie will stop, and some markings will show up on the wall. The sequence of these symbols is the key to solving the mystery of the stones. Now, travelers have to go back to the Thunderbird Statue. Around the statue, players will find five stones, each with a different symbol on it.

To solve the puzzle, they have to hit the stone in the same sequence as the markings on the wall. If the sequence is commenced properly, an illusion will appear and hint the Traveler to go to another place to find Ruu.

There are a lot of these stone puzzles on Tsurumi Island. While there is a small twist with some of them, most can be solved with this method. If the puzzle isn't quest-related, the chest spawned will reward a Stone Slate. Players need to collect seven of them to get two Luxurious Chests, so they shouldn't skip this puzzle.

Peculiar Pinion is a feather dropped by the Thunderbird. It is said that the feather emits a sound that inspired the creation of the Maushiro. Thunderbird was once the protector of Tsurumi Island, until one day the creature met a little boy. The little boy sang to the bird, and they were fond of each other.

Seeing this, the tribe of the island decides to sacrifice the boy to please the Thunderbird. However, this grieved the creature instead of pleasing it. Thus, the Thunderbird unleashed its wrath upon the inhabitants, erasing them all from existence.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
