Genshin Impact: Should You Pull For Nahida Or Nilou?

When a double banner comes in Genshin Impact, players often end up with the question, "Should I pull for this or that?" Nahida Or Nilou In Genshin Impact

This synergy is created because Nilou requires a strong Dendro enabler on her team, and Nahida is one of the best at that job. Therefore, featuring both characters together is advantageous for players who can pull for both. As for those who can only pull on one banner, comparing both units' weapons, artifacts, and the roles they can fulfill provides a strong indication of whether to choose to pull for Nahida or Nilou's rerun banners in Genshin Impact.

Weapons

Nahida can function well with multiple stats in Genshin Impact. Giving her Elemental Mastery enhances her A1 passive buff, improves her Elemental Skill performance, and increases her Skill CRIT Rate. On the other hand, increasing her ATK%, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG enhances Nahida's overall damage output. Some of the best weapons that fit perfectly with Nahida's kit is A Thousand Floating Dreams. However, players can also opt for Kagura's Verity, Tulaytullah's Remembrance, The Widsith, or other options because of her excellent scaling.

As for Nilou, her best weapon depends on the role she plays in the team comp. If the team revolves around Nilou's passive that produces Bountiful Cores, then maximizing Nilou's HP should be prioritized. Unfortunately, there are limited Sword options that add HP in their Secondary Stat, with Key of Khaj-Nisut being the only viable one, while Primordial Jade Cutter adds 20% on its passive. Players can also play Nilou as a DPS by activating her Sword Dance stance, with Primordial being the best-in-slot for that role. For that stance, weapons that maximize her damage output like Mistsplitter Reforged or Haran Geppaku Futsu also work.

As for Nilou, it's best to have double 20% HP sets or Deepwood Memories if she's built to deal damage with her Bountiful Cores. If she's built as a DPS, players can choose 4pc Vourukasha's Glow or a double 15% Hydro DMG Bonus sets to maximize her damage output.

For this section, Nahida and Nilou are somewhat equal, since they both demand a certain set. However, when considering the artifact farming value, Nahida wins. Gilded Dreams and Deepwood domain is one of the best to farm, while Vourukasha's Glow is a more niche set. Fortunately, Nymph's Dream is a great artifact for Hydro characters, so the difference is not too large.

Roles

Nahida and Nilou have completely different roles. Nahida can excel in various roles, whether as a DPS or supporting any team that needs Dendro applications. On the other hand, Nilou's kit requires players to follow a strict style of gameplay and team building. Her team should have a healer, and players can only choose Dendro and Hydro units. Even if built as a DPS, Nilou's damage output is mediocre compared to other strong DPS units in the game, especially since she lacks the Support to raise her damage to an acceptable level. For example, Nilou only scales with HP and there's no dedicated HP buffer. Her Sword Stance is also considered an Elemental Skill DMG, which again, has no proper buffer.

Despite Nilou's limitations, players should not underestimate her, as her Bloom teams can produce some of the highest damage output in Genshin Impact. Therefore, Nilou's restrictions are more of balancing terms rather than limitations, and players can still achieve excellent results by building their team around her kit.
