Ever since Shikanoin Heizou made his debut into Genshin Impact rosters, it was inevitable for Genshin Impact players to notice his unique combat style. Not only in combat but Heizou also shines in team compositions since Swirling can be really powerful in specific setups.

Suppose players are looking to fit Shikanoin Heizou into team compositions. The easiest way is to replace Sucrose in national and taser teams. Genshin Impact Sucrose is there to Swirl and increases the team’s Elemental Mastery. While Heizou can’t buff as well as Sucrose, he still can perform remarkably in such teams.

Heizou + Beidou + Xingqiu + Kazuha

Taser teams are getting more fame every day, especially inside the Spiral Abyss. The addition of Heizou to this team composition improves the team’s close combat synergy since he will help Swirl Beidou’s Electro and Xingqiu’s Hydro through their elemental Bursts.

Of course, Kazuha will play the Anemo Support role by controlling enemies and narrowing the space between them by pulling them to him. Kazuha will also increase the team's overall damage by increasing his team’s Elemental DMG when he Swirl, which is easy for him. In this team composition, it’s better to build Heizou to deal damage since Kazuha will take the Anemo Support role.

• Beidou: Shielder, Electro enabler, Sub-DPS
• Xingqiu: Sub-DPS, minor healer, Hydro enabler
• Kazuha: Buffer, debuffer, CC

Heizou + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett

Xiangling, Xingqiu, Bennett, and Chongyun form one of the best teams in Genshin Impact. What makes the national team so powerful is the synergy all these characters have with each other. Even players who suffer from Genshin’s combat rhythm will notice that there’s a big room for errors in their teamwork. While Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Bennett are irreplaceable in this team composition, Chongyun is. Yes, he is amazing, but other characters would perform the same or even better. And here’s where Heizou makes his debut.

Not only that Heizou increases the national team’s reactions, but he also possesses a significant amount of DPS and can even stay on the field for a longer duration than the others. Heizou can also Swirl and reduce enemies’ resistance to Hydro and Pyro, which is vital for Xingqiu and Xiangling’s Vaporize.

Team Roles

• Heizou: Sub DPS, Swirl trigger, buffer, debuffer
• Xiangling: Sub-DPS, Pyro enabler, Vaporize trigger, part of the Pyro Resonance
• Xingqiu: Sub-DPS, minor healer, Hydro enabler
• Bennett: Healer, buffer, part of the Pyro Resonance

Heizou + Yelan + Kuki + 1

This Kuki and Yelan team composition in Genshin Impact is simple. Electro-charge and stagger enemies nonstop while Heizou delivers blow after another. Yelan will greatly increase Heizou’s DMG%, Kuki will heal, and all three will endlessly trigger Electro-charged.

As for the remaining character, players can use a favorite character or synergize with the group by adding either a Hydro or Electro unit to keep the reactions limited to Electro-charged and Electro or Hydro Swirl. It is not recommended to add a Cryo unit since Cryo will introduce Freeze to the reactions which will slow the combat style.

• Yelan: Sub-DPS, Hydro enabler, buffer
• Kuki: Healer, Electro-charged trigger, Electro enabler

Heizou + Zhongli + Yun Jin + Bennett

This is a niche Genshin Impact’s team composition that includes Zhongli, Yun Jin, and Bennett. All three possess the ability to enormously buff a character. This team composition mainly focuses on raising Heizou’s damage. In addition to all that, Yun Jin and Zhongli are both Geo characters, and their existence in the same team will also boost Heizou’s DMG by 15%.

Starting the combat with Bennett’s Elemental Burst, he will buff Heizou’s attacks while granting him a Pyro aura to trigger Pyro Swirls. Zhongli will reduce enemies’ Anemo resistance, and finally, Yun Jin significantly buffing Heizou’s Normal attacks. With all those buffs and debuffs, Heizou will proceed to take the field and absolutely destroy his opponents.

• Heizou: Main DPS
• Zhongli: Shielder, buffer, debuffer, part of Geo Resonance
• Yun Jin: Buffer, part of Geo Resonance
• Bennett: Healer, buffer

Heizou + Xiangling + Kokomi + Fischl

This team composition replaces Sucrose in the Sukokomon team. Heizou maybe doesn’t possess Sucrose’s passive to massively increase her team’s Elemental Mastery, but Heizou can inflict more DMG than her.

Genshin Impact Kokomi can start by using her Elemental Skill, Fischl follows with her Oz on the field, then Xiangling will unleash her devastating Elemental Burst. From there, Heizou will take the field and from that point, all three Elements will be mixed into his combat style and form all kinds of related reactions.

Team Roles

• Heizou: Sub-DPS, Swirl trigger, buffer
• Xiangling: Sub-DPS, Pyro enabler
• Kokomi: Sub-DPS, healer, Hydro enabler
• Fischl: Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
