Amidst travelers' exploration of Safhe Shatranj in Genshin Impact, they will come across a locked temple guarded by a Primal Construct. Defeating the enemy will allow players to activate the door's mechanism and gain access inside the Temple Forsaken.
After using the temple's elevator to descend to the lower floor, players will find three locked chests; two Common Chests and one Luxurious Chest in Genshin Impact. To unlock them, travelers should complete specific tasks, which include solving some Cascade Pool Puzzles.
How To Solve The Temple Forsaken Puzzle In Genshin Impact
Players need to complete three Cascade Pool Puzzles to solve the Safhe Shatranj's Cascade Pool Puzzle in Genshin Impact. The key to completing the puzzle is to match the Cascade Pools on one side to match the other side. One side of the wall has an unchanging Cascade Pool, while a bow user in Genshin Impact can adjust the other side.
How To Solve The First Cascade Pool Puzzle
To solve the first Cascade Pool Puzzle, travelers need to mimic the right wall's pattern, which means players should only fill the middle Cascade Pool.
Solving the puzzle correctly will spawn three Eremites, which players need to defeat to unlock the first Common Chest. Also, after completing the first puzzle, the Cascade Pool pattern will change on the right side, indicating the start of the second Puzzle in Genshin Impact.
How To Solve the Second Cascade Pool Puzzle
Filling the top right and bottom left Pools is required to solve the second Cascade Pool Puzzle of the Safhe Shatranj in Genshin Impact. Completing this puzzle will spawn two Primal Constructs. Defeat the enemies to unlock the second Common Chest and change the Cascade Pools pattern on the right wall again.
How To Solve The Third Cascade Pool Puzzle
To solve the third and last Cascade Pool Puzzle in the Temple Forsaken, players need to fill the top left, middle, and lower right Cascade Pools of the left wall. To accomplish this, travelers have to:
- Empty the lower left Cascade.
- Empty the top right Cascade into the lower right Pool.
- Close the left Sprout of the top left Cascade Pool (if open).
- Hit the right Sprout of the same Cascade to open it.
- Shoot the sand source on top to fill up the Cascade Pool beneath it and the middle one.
- Close the Sprout on the top-left once the middle one is filled.
If players successfully follow the pattern of the other wall, two Ruin Drake: Earthguards will emerge for a fight. Defeating them unlocks the Luxurious Chest in Genshin Impact.
