Genshin Impact updates are usually divided into two separate banners which can include different limited characters. Each banner cycle lasts for approximately three weeks which means that players have to act fast in order to acquire the limited items.

After Arataki Itto's Oni Royal banner ended, it was time for a new set of characters to take its place. The first part of the new Genshin Impact update 2.8 has brought a double banner re-run with only one new four-star character.

A new post on the popular Genshin Impact subreddit shows the day one revenue numbers for the current double banner that features two popular characters - Kazuha and Klee. The banner seems to be very successful as it reached the fourth spot on the list of the game's most successful banners, however, it should be noted that the numbers represent first-day sales on the CN server. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that it is impressive how the five most successful banners are feature character reruns. The main reason behind this could be the fact that players already known the power of these characters, and they don't need to wait for additional feedback which is often the case with new Genshin Impact characters.

Numerous fans claim that another reason why this banner is so successful is because it features one of the most anticipated five-star characters in Kaedehara Kazuha, and it took HoYoverse over a year to give him his first banner re-run. At the time of his release, multiple Inazuma rumors were floating around the community, leading most players to skip his banner to save up for the characters from the new region like Ayaka or the Electro Archon Raiden Shogun.

However, since then he has proven to be one of the best units in the game as his support capabilities can hardly be matched by any other character on the playable roster. Kazuha has the ability to shred opponents' resistances which is especially useful in the Genshin Impact's end-game content. The banner also features a brand-new character and the game's first male catalyst user - Shikanoin Heizou.

Heizou is a popular detective from Inazuma who works for the famous Tenryou Commission. Apart from Xiao, Heizou is the only Anemo character in the game whose role is being the main DPS in team compositions. The banner features another five-star DPS character named Klee who was part of Genshin Impact's first limited banner. Even though she is one of the oldest characters in the game, Klee is still considered a decent DPS choice, especially for players who lack Pyro damage in their team composition.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is currently in development.
