Giant Ruin Guards is not a new sight in Genshin Impact Sumeru. The first one players would see likely resides in Devantaka Mountain of Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru. Afterward, version 3.1 also has a rogue robot that shoots lasers at objects in the area; this one is called Afratu's Dilemma, a World Quest found in the Valley of Dahri.

Meanwhile, in Genshin Impact 3.4, Azariq invites Travelers to use the giant robot to roam the desert area. Somehow, the Eremite has the required knowledge to fix the robot, which leads Jeht to be suspicious as this kind of knowledge should’ve been shared among the tribe’s people. However, of course, despite knowing what to do, Azariq allows the protagonist to have the "fun" operating the robot. This means players have to follow his directions and activate the required Power Relays to turn the robot on. One of the tasks people will follow in this quest chain is powering up the Ruin Guard’s arm. This mission is actually easy, but since the required Energy blocks are concentrated in one spot, it may cause people to get confused when looking for them. Therefore, to help ease the quest, this guide will explain how players can restore the power to the left armin Genshin Impact Dune-Entombed Fecundity quest.

To restore the power to the left arm in Genshin Impact Dune-Entombed Fecundity quest, players must find two Energy blocks and use them to power the Power Relays.

The two Power Relays are separated by the central panel, and the two Energy blocks are both in one of the two bridges. If players couldn’t find the Energy block, it’s likely because they’re standing on the wrong bridge.

After picking up both of the Energy blocks, place one inside the nearby device, then cross the central platform to reach the second mechanism.

Like the first one, the second device is also located across the bridge from the central platform.

Once the power is restored to the left arm, players have to use the giant robot to make a hole. Use the "punch" button on the glowing area to gain a new route to the underground.

This system was also seen in Genshin Impact 3.0 Sumeru, in the Aranyaka quest. As players venture with Ararycan inside the giant Ruin Guard in Devantaka Mountain, they need to connect all the four relays in the middle. Afterward, the protagonist decides to mess around with the machinery, which leads to the robot malfunctioning. Luckily, the robot reveals a new route underground as it does, allowing Ararycan and the Sumeru researcher to explore a new area to better understand the robot.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
