A Genshin Impact player has shared a helpful map that accurately divides all the main and subregions in the game. The world of Teyvat consists of seven major regions, each based on a real-life location. Every region in the game also has its symbolic element and an Archon who serves as its main protector.

Out of Genshin Impact's seven main nations, only four are currently explorable with Sumeru being the most recently added one. The home of the God of Wisdom introduced a brand-new element named Dendro, adding much-needed diversity to the game's combat system with eight new elemental reactions.

Reddit user WintryRedistribution has shared an interesting map that will help Genshin Impact's completionists who want to reach 100% exploration progress in all regions. Even though the in-game map shows the progress for each subregion, it does not specify their exact borders. Players who want to use this map should try to combine it with Genshin Impact's official interactive map that shows the location of all the important items in the game. Maxing out the exploration progress on the whole map is no easy task, and this map will definitely come in handy.

Exploration is probably one of the game's greatest assets besides its anime-inspired approach to character design. However, some fans have noticed an interesting issue while exploring the world of Teyvat. Apparently, some players have reached 100% exploration progress on all the current regions despite missing over 300 chests. Fans have been asking for an option to sync their account with the interactive map, which would automatically remove the limited items like chests they've already acquired.

Genshin Impact's adventure enthusiasts are looking forward to the next update, which will introduce the third part of Sumeru. According to recent rumors, Genshin Impact update 3.4 will unlock another Sumeru desert, meaning that a ton of new content is on its way. There is a chance that this could be the last Sumeru subregion to arrive, and future updates could be adding expansions to existing regions.

Mondstadt is the prime candidate for receiving another region, as it's the first nation that arrived in the game. Credible leakers have revealed that the current version of Mondstadt represents only around 60% of the nation, which means that the Anemo region has a lot more to offer in the future.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
