Genshin Impact players can be rewarded with free Primogems by discussing the new Recollector’s Path event online. This gives Genshin Impact gamers a unique chance to be awarded Primogems without even needing to play the game, only by taking a few minutes to participate and help others.

Primogems are at the heart of the Genshin Impact experience. As the game uses a gacha-based system, players need to use this special currency to purchase Acquaint and Intertwined Fates, which allows them to try to gain new characters or special weapons using wishes. Genshin Impact often gives out free Primogems, be it via promo codes, events, or even in-game emails that inform the gamers and give them rewards at the same time. As they can help players to acquire new characters without actually spending real money or even completing quests, these are fairly popular opportunities to get a character.

Now, HoYoverse is giving out free Primogems to people who help others on a new event, The Recollector’s Path. During the event, which happens from May 8 to 22, players will participate in the Bloomguard trials, which require an Adventure Rank of at least 20 to unlock. So, gamers who want to get a few Primogems to participate in the current Baizhu and Ganyu banner can visit the discussion page on the official HoYoLAB website, and share tips with others.

There are currently two methods for participating and claiming free Primogems in Genshin Impact. Either the players can publish tips for any trial challenges of the event or they can comment on the post. For the first method, it’s important to use the topic #TheRecollectorsPath and give hints about the challenges. Players who don’t want to do that may comment on the page, talking about the Bloomguard. As long as the answers are helpful, they are eligible to participate, and the results will be out on May 23. 100 winners (50 from each method) will be selected to gain 100 free Primogems each. It’s not much, but it’s free and easy to participate.

While most Genshin Impact players love free Primogems, not everybody is in love with the gacha system anymore. An example of that can be seen in the recent reports about Genshin Impact gamers who are frustrated with the current pity system. At the moment, a 5-star character is guaranteed every 180 tries, however, with 4-four star characters, there is no guarantee that they will ever be gained, as an unlucky person may simply be unable to get the one they want.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
