For some reason, Razor is barely ever featured in Genshin Impact banners. This causes a lot of players to miss out on his Genshin Impact Constellations, unable to use the wolf boy at full power.

In version 2.6, Razor finally gets a rate-up, providing players with a higher chance of obtaining his Constellations. Sadly, Razor has now been pushed aside by the release of a better Physical DPS. Nevertheless, those who stay loyal to the wolf boy may be interested in learning whether it's worth it or not to pursue Razor’s Constellations in Genshin Impact.

Are Razor's Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

Razor Genshin Impact Lupical Wolf Within

Razor's Constellations don’t add much to his playstyle or change it all that noticeably. They mainly boost his damage, but don't affect much of his utilities. As a result, he can perform what is expected of him with or without his Constellations.

That said, his C4 is a must for anyone who wants that extra push that Razor needs. Ignoring defense or decreasing it is always an important effect for Genshin Impact characters, and only a handful of the massive Genshin Impact roster interact with enemies' defense, like Raiden Shogun and Klee.

C1 - Wolf's Instinct

C1 Razor in Genshin Impact
  • Effect: Picking up an Elemental Orb or Particle increases Razor's Dmg by 10% for 8 seconds.
  • Importance: Medium

C1 Razor’s buff is continuous since he will always be getting Orbs or Particles during combat. It’s not much of an increase, but still makes a difference during his burst duration, when his attack speed is greatly boosted.

C2 - Suppression

C2 Razor in Genshin Impact
  • Effect: Increases Razor’s Critical Rate by 10% against enemies with less than 30% HP.
  • Importance: Low

C2 Razor has a small boost to his Critical Rate against a certain condition. It doesn’t really do anything to his playstyle or boost his damage. It only plays a small role in ending weaker enemies with low HP faster, which Razor would likely be doing anyway.

C4 - Bite

C4 Razor in Genshin Impact
  • Effect: When casting Razor’s Elemental Skill, Claw and Thunder (Press), enemies hit by the skill will have their defense decreased by 15% for 7 seconds.
  • Importance: Priority

This is the only Genshin Impact Constellation that is worth getting for Razor. C4 Razor can be hurtful to any enemy who got hit by his Elemental Skill because a 15% decrease in defense gives Razor a decent boost in damage. Since this effect decreases defense rather than ignoring it, other party members will also benefit from this Constellation.

C6 - Lupus Fulguris

C6 Razor in Genshin Impact
  • Effect: Every 10 seconds, Razor's sword charges up, causing the next Normal Attack to release lightning that deals 100% of Razor's ATK as Electro Dmg. When Razor is not using Lightning Fang, a lightning strike on an opponent will grant Razor an Electro Sigil for his Elemental Skill, Claw and Thunder.
  • Importance: Low

Razor is a Physical DPS unit in Genshin Impact, so an extra Electro hit won't be too useful. One possible way to utilize this effect is by pairing Razor with C6 Kujou Sara, where the Shogun General will buff Razor's Electro Crit Dmg by a massive 60%.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
