A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about the upcoming Pyro Archon and a new Natlan character who supposedly goes by the name Xbalanque. Developer HoYoverse has established a pattern of introducing one major region per year, with Fontaine being the most recent addition.

As Fontaine's main storyline is slowly ending, it's time for Travelers to set foot in a new major region, which, according to one of Genshin Impact's first story teasers, will be Natlan. This was also recently confirmed, as the most recent Special Program event featured the first teaser for the Pyro nation.

The release of a new major region is widely considered the most exciting event in the Genshin Impact community since it introduces new playable terrain, characters, weapons, storylines, etc. A Genshin Impact leaker named White leaks has revealed more details about two Natlan characters, the Pyro Archon and Xbalanque. According to the leak, Xbalanque and the Pyro Archon will have a master-apprentice relationship. In this dynamic, Xbalanque will serve as the master and Natlan's Archon will be his apprentice. Many fans claim they are surprised by the rumor hinting that Xbalanque has a higher role in the Pyro nation, with some fans comparing the two with Fontaine's Hydro Archon Furina and Neuvillette.

Genshin Impact: Who is Natlan's Pyro Archon?

At the moment, there is not much official information about the Pyro Archon other than that they are also known as the God of War. The official storyline has confirmed that a powerful character named Murata used to be the Archon 1000 years before Genshin Impact's current timeline. However, it's unclear if she still holds this title. Apart from the Archon, Xbalanque is the only Genshin Impact character consistently mentioned in numerous leaks over the last few months.

Xbalanque was also mentioned in Neuvillette's official description, which confirms his existence in the Genshin Impact universe. Credible leakers have revealed that this Natlan character has a boy model, with short white hair. Many fans have been suggesting that Xbalanque could be related to Mondstadt's unluckiest adventurer, the four-star Pyro user Bennett.

Bennett was abandoned by his parents as a baby, and a popular theory in the Genshin Impact community suggests that his origins could be tied to the Natlan region. These leaks and rumors should still be taken with a grain of salt considering that Natlan won't arrive until Genshin Impact update 5.0, which, going by Genshin Impact's usual schedule, should drop around late August or early September.
