The results of a Genshin Impact poll shows who are the most popular female characters in the game's roster. HoYoverse keeps updating the list of playable characters with every new update that arrives, with Wanderer and Faruzan being the most recent additions.
The Special Program event for Genshin Impact update 3.4 has already confirmed the arrival of two new Dendro characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyao. Alhaitham is confirmed to be a new five-star unit while Yaoyao is expected to have a lower four-star rarity. Both of them are scheduled to appear on the same banner cycle.
Reddit user Yusukeisbestwaifu has shared the results of an interesting poll done in the game's Chinese community, that rank Genshin Impact's female characters by popularity. At the top of the list is the recently released Dendro Archon Nahida. Even though she arrived back in update 3.2, there is still a lot of hype around this character who plays the main protector of the Sumeru region. The Nahida and Yoimiya double banner still holds the record for most sales within a regular banner cycle. Even though many fans did not like her appearance at first, a well-designed character arc has turned this character into a fan-favorite.
Unsurprisingly, the second character on the list is another Archon named Raiden Shogun. This ruthless character, who joined the roster back in update 2.1, watches over the islands of Inazuma. Raiden Shogun's ability to fit almost every role within a team composition makes her a must-have character for players who want to compete on the highest floors of the Spiral Abyss. Her popularity was once again proven by the recent revenue reports which reveal that Raiden Shogun's 3rd re-run could break Nahida's record.
The third most popular character is the Cryo DPS Eula who has not been featured on a banner since update 2.3. The fact that Hu Tao was officially announced for 3.4 means that Eula currently holds the record for skipping the highest number of consecutive updates. Eula's strength lies in dealing tons of Physical damage which makes her a very flexible character.
Many fans seem surprised by the fact that the Pyro character Klee took the fourth spot since she's not been part of Genshin Impact's meta for a very long time. Even though Klee used to be the strongest five-star DPS back when she got released in update 1.0, many players replaced her with stronger characters that have a much more complex kit.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
