A Genshin Impact glitch gives players a perfect opportunity to create impressive screenshots or record videos of their favorite characters. Since its release back in 2020, the game has become a massive success in the gaming community and one of the main reasons behind its global popularity is the breathtaking world and character design.

Unfortunately, bugs are sometimes found in the game, though that does not come as a surprise as Genshin Impact keeps expanding with each new update. The ongoing version 3.4 has introduced a new part of the Sumeru desert as well as two new Dendro characters, Alhaitham and Yaoyoa.

Reddit user floppyducky has shared an interesting video that allows players to freeze the game in the middle of an Elemental Burst animation by triggering a simple glitch. Elemental Bursts are usually the strongest ability in every character's kit in Genshin Impact. They require elemental energy and have a much longer cooldown compared to Elemental Skills. Every five-star character in the game has a unique burst animation which causes the camera angle to shift which results in a movie-like scene. According to the video, in order to trigger this glitch, players need to activate the in-game camera feature and the Kamera gadget at the same time.

However, many comments reply that this bug was unfortunately fixed in the current Genshin Impact update 3.4 which means that players will need to find another way to take videos of their favorite characters while they are in the middle of their burst animations. Some fans think that Genshin Impact should improve their permanent photo mode to allow players to freeze time when taking images, especially considering that half of the game's beauty is in the animations and combat.

Some players would also like the option to turn off the close-up animations for their five-star characters when they use their bursts. The first character shown in the post, Yelan, is currently obtainable as part of the Limited Character Banner alongside the Pyro polearm user Hu Tao.

According to recent Genshin Impact revenue reports, the ongoing double banner could break the game's overall revenue record at the end of its duration. The fact that the current record is also held by a banner that had two re-runs is proof of how well HoYoverse is managing power creep with new character releases.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
