Omni-Ubiquity Net was released in Genshin Impact 2.3, along with the Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog event. At first, it was an event-exclusive gadget. But afterward, players can buy more of these Nets via a merchant in Inazuma.
Petting animals is still not possible in Genshin Impact, but with Omni-Ubiquity Net, players can at least collect more creatures for their Serenitea Pot. However, while this tool can capture many kinds of animals, it can't take all of them. Therefore, this guide will include all animal players can capture with the Omni-Ubiquity Net. And of course, where to find each of them.
Updated September 25, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah: The release of Sumeru in version 3.0 brings a lot more variety to the fauna in Genshin Impact. Players will get to discover new enemies like the fungi, along with some new animals like the Rishboland Raja and the Sumpter Beast.
While the larger animals are not eligible for catching using the Omni-Ubiquity Net, the smaller ones, like Shroomboars and Forest Tree Frogs, can be collected for players' Serenitea Pot. To help players catch them all, this guide has been updated to include all the animals that can be caught using the green gadget.
How To Get Omni-Ubiquity Net In Genshin Impact
To get Omni-Ubiquity Net, Travelers must find Wakamurasaki in Inazuma. She can be found next to the Teleport Waypoint near Inazuma City. Every week, players can purchase five Omni-Ubiquity Nets. Each one will cost 10,000 Mora.
How To Use Omni-Ubiquity Net In Genshin Impact
To use Omni-Ubiquity Net, players can follow this direction:
- Equip the Net: Open inventory and find the Omni-Ubiquity Net.
- Activate the gadget after closing the inventory screen. This tool will replace the character's Elemental Skill.
- Aim the crosshair: Some animals move a lot, so make sure the Net will hit the creature.
- If it misses, then try again: One Net will be consumed after capturing a creature. But if players fail to catch the animal, they won't lose the item.
Omni-Ubiquity Net Animal Locations In Genshin Impact
In total, there are 51 animals that can be captured with the Omni-Ubiquity Net. However, since players can only buy five Nets per week, then they should pick the animals they want carefully. Catching some species will also grant Genshin Impact achievements. Players can look into those if they need Primogems.
Birds
There are 12 types of birds that can be caught with the Omni-Ubiquity Net. For some reason, Ducks aren't included in the list, so Travelers can't yet make a Duckpond in their Serenitea Pot.

Red Tailed Lizard Location
Similar to the Pith Lizard, the Red Tailed Lizard is also quite rare. A Red Tailed Lizard can be seen in one location of Genshin Impact Sumeru, which is somewhere around Devantaka Mountain.
Lucklight Fly Location
The Chasm is filled with many unique creatures, and Lucklight Fly is one of them. This glowing bug is quite common around the area, so players are bound to find them easily by simply walking around.
Tips To Use Omni-Ubiquity Net In Genshin Impact
Because almost all animals would run away when players walk closer to them, it's recommended to put characters that will nullify this effect. Aloy will prevent animals of the birds and beasts category from running away. Meanwhile, Sayu will assist with creatures in the "others" category.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
