As the Wishful Drops event comes to its conclusion on April 16th, Genshin Impact players now have the opportunity to unlock the game's recently added pet Endora. As the second available pet in Genshin Impact, Endora serves as a nice addition to the game's visual customization options.
In order to unlock Endora, players must complete all five of the currently available investigations in the "Edora's Education" category of the Wishful Drops event. For each of the investigations, players must travel to a specific area and capture a set amount of Oceanid creatures using Endora's "Bubble Spit" Skill.
Once players have completed each of the investigations they will unlock the "Life Flows On (II)" world quest. To start the quest, players must head to the Rhodeia boss location north of Wuwang Hill and interact with the box in the center of the area.
Players must then defeat Rhodeia one final time before they are able to continue Endora's questline. Because the Rhodeia fight is part of a questline, players are not required to spend resin to claim the rewards after the fight has concluded. However, if players have any unused "Heart of the Spring" in their inventory, this would be an opportune time to use it.
After defeating Rhodeia, players must travel to the nearest waypoint and speak with Endora. During the conversation, Endora will have regained all of her memories and reveals the reason for the bitterness of the water supply.
Endora will then ask the player to travel to Springvale to speak with Old Finch one final time. From the Springvale waypoint, Old Finch can be found next to the small pond with the two Seelie statues.
Players must then travel to the Dawn Winery a final time to inform Connor that the water supply will soon return to normal. After speaking with Connor, players will have to interact with Endora once more before the quest is completed.
For completing the quest, players will unlock 60 primogems, 30,000 mora, and most importantly, Endora as a pet. Unfortunately, unlike the Mini Seelies that were obtained through the Lost Riches Event, no additional color variants of Endora are available.
Like the Mini-Seelies, players can equip Endora from the Gadget tab in their inventory. Unfortunately, the Endora pet is purely aesthetic and cannot aid the player in any fights or allow them to access the "Bubble Spit" ability once the Wishful drops event has concluded.
Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with PS5 and Switch versions in development.
