A Genshin Impact video shows that the game can run on 13K resolution with the help of Nvidia's RTX 4090 GPU. The game features a cel-shaded rendering technique which is in sync with the overall anime-inspired approach to character and world design.

Genshin Impact has reached global success thanks to its frequent update schedule that keeps the content of this open-world RPG fresh. The most recent major update allowed players to enter the mysterious land of Sumeru which quickly became the fan favorite due to its attention to detail.

A video posted by a YouTube channel named Golden Reviewer shows the power of the new RTX 4090 by running the game on 13k. A couple of comments have pointed out that the resolution is actually over 13K considering that the Render Resolution option is set on 1.5. Even though the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 has its problems at the moment like the high price and adapter issues, it's hard to deny its ridiculous power representing the next generation in graphical hardware. The game's graphic settings have recently been one of the main topics in the community due to HoYoverse's decision to change the anti-aliasing settings.

Genshin Impact version 3.2 has completely removed SMAA and TAA with a new type of rendering technique named FSR 2.0 which stands for FidelityFX Super Resolution. Players have been complaining that the new FSR 2.0 anti-aliasing technique makes the game look too sharp, especially while moving. The worst part of the change, according to some fans, is the fact that players have the option to either pick FSR 2.0 or completely turn off anti-aliasing.

While the community did not like this change, this might be the developer's attempt to slowly resolve one of the game's greatest issues which is the 60 FPS cap on PC. Luckily, after a significant backlash, HoYoverse released a statement claiming that they will bring SMAA back to the game in future Genshin Impact updates. However, players still don't like the fact that they are forced to experience one of the most epic fights in the story with underwhelming graphics.

Update 3.2 has introduced probably the greatest fight in the game in which Travelers cross swords with Scaramouche who controls a huge transformers-like creature that has numerous types of flashy attacks infused with elemental energy. In order to unlock this boss domain, players need to finish the "Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies" Archon quest.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
