Highlights

  • Navia is a new Geo character in Genshin Impact, and she has the potential to deal over 100k damage with her skill.
  • Navia's kit focuses on utilizing the Crystallize reaction and collecting shards to boost her damage.
  • The best artifact set for Navia is Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods, but she can also benefit from using Marechaussee Hunters when paired with Furina. Her best weapons include Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword and The Unforged.

Genshin Impact has finally given players a new Geo character and she's already doing numbers. Many who did Navia's trial found themselves shocked when she occasionally did over 100k damage. When characters perform exceptionally well in the Genshin Impact trial runs, it tends to take people by storm. Her kit focuses on her skill, which is where all of her damage comes from. Her burst is fine too and should be leveled, but it isn't as high a priority as her skill.

She's flexible and has great free-to-play weapon options, aside from her signature one, Verdict. Genshin Impact's Navia puts the long-forgotten Crystallize reaction to good use and collects those shards to boost her damage. She gains a stack for each shard picked up, any over 3 adding bonus DMG to her attack. With the right team, it's easy to produce Crystallize shards and keep Navia's damage at an all-time high.

Genshin Impact's Navia's Kit

Any player who happened to do pre-farming for Navia may find themselves disappointed to learn that Genshin Impact's Navia's best artifact set is the same that dropped with her, Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods. However, this is just if she's not used alongside Furina. In those teams, she would benefit a little more from running Marechaussee Hunters. Like any other ATK scaling DPS, she wants the usual sub-stats for her artifacts:

  • ATK% Sands and generally in sub-stats
  • Geo DMG Goblet
  • Crit Rate/Crit DMG Circlet depending on what the player specifically is lacking, but also Crit stats throughout the build

Though it isn't available yet, one of Navia's best free-to-play weapons will be the event weapon, Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword. It has the potential to bring her an extra 48% percent ATK at max refinement and with the Melusine quests done. Anyone who plays through the upcoming event should be able to receive it and its refinement materials. It isn't the only weapon available for players who are looking to test and use Navia before the event drops. Many great options exist, such as:

  • The Unforged (gacha five-star)
  • Wolf's Gravestone (gacha and standard banner five-star)
  • Serpent Spine (battle pass four-star)
  • Verdict (Navia's signature five-star)
  • Sacrificial Greatsword (gacha and standard banner four-star)

When players are ready to take Navia off the bench and pair her with others, there are a lot of good options. Some of Navia's best team comps will have another Geo unit to activate resonance and then two characters who are Pyro, Cryo, Electro, or Hydro, to buff Navia. Her fourth ascension passive buffs her ATK by 20% for each character of those elements, maxing out at 2. Some popular characters to consider pairing with her are:

  • Ningguang (sub-DPS)
  • Xingqiu/Yelan (sub-DPS, different element to buff her)
  • Fischl/Yae Miko (sub-DPS, different element)
  • Furina (sub-DPS or healer, different element)
  • Kokomi (healer, different element)
  • Zhongli (shield)
  • Bennett (support, different element)
  • Xiangling (sub-DPS, different element)

For players who have extra Primogems or are interested in knowing if they should save up for Genshin Impact's Navia's best constellations, it's important to know what each one does. Her most "worth it" constellations would be her C2, C3, and her C6. Her C2 allows players to raise the chance of her skill hitting a critical attack, and since her elemental skill is the foundation for her kit, this is incredibly important.

For Navia's other strong Genshin Impact constellations, her C3 and C6 are a lot more expensive but just as worth it. Her C3 increases her skill by 3, so if a player crowned her, she'd have a level 13 elemental skill. Again, with her focal point being her skill, this is a wonderful stopping point--but not the only one. Her C6 gives her a massive crit DMG boost when she has over 3 stacks of her shards, making it a worthy investment.
