Genshin Impact has revealed the highly anticipated mount feature of Natlan, as well as the character banners and new features coming in Version 4.7. Though most Genshin Impact players were hoping for Dainsleif to make his annual appearance sooner, Version 4.7 will focus heavily on the twins and the Bough Keeper in the new Archon Quest. However, from a gameplay perspective, the three highlights of the upcoming patch are the Imaginarium Theater, a raise of the Original Resin cap, and the debut of Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos.

The banner order for Version 4.7 has been confirmed to feature Clorinde and Alhaitham in the first half of the update, while Sigewinne and Furina will headline the second half. Contrary to previous speculation, Sethos will appear with Alhaitham and Clorinde as one of the featured 4-Star characters. Though the other 4-Stars remain unknown, Genshin Impact players are holding out hope that Kaveh will be among them.

The Genshin Impact livestream was hosted by the voice actors of Dainsleif, Aether, Sigewinne, and Clorinde. It featured the debut of a new Animated Short, which told the story of Aether and Lumine's journey on Teyvat. The new Archon Quest will finally see the twins reunited in a continuation of the narrative threads established in Caribert. Furthermore, the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact won't be the only endgame activity, as the Imaginarium Theater will be introduced in Version 4.7. It will allow Genshin Impact players to complete combat challenges both with their own roster, but also with up to one character from their friend's account.

Many different types of mounts, with different movement skills and abilities, will make up the main exploration mechanic of Natlan in Version 5.0 and beyond, and each seem to have a draconic inspiration in their design.

Overall, it would seem that Version 4.7 is packed with content, as it will feature the next Archon Quest with Dainsleif, two new Story Quests, several combat events, and the Imaginarium Theater. Version 4.8 of Genshin Impact will let players roam around in a temporary Summer Event zone, as the last two updates in the Fontaine patch cycle will prepare players for the Natlan chapter of Genshin Impact, slated to arrive in late August 2024 with Version 5.0.
