Explorations in Genshin Impact would be way too straightforward if everything had a quest marker, so some quests that leave players blind aren’t so bad at times. While walking around the land of Fontaine, Travelers may come across a man buried in the sands (with a roasted chicken in front of him, for some reason).
Helping the man, Henri, will lead to a quest being unlocked. Later in the quest, Henri will ask players to find Mysterious Core locations so that he can complete a commission given by his "boss" in Genshin Impact.
Mysterious Core Locations in Genshin Impact
To complete Truly Mouthwatering! Quest, players must find seven Mysterious Cores in the following Genshin Impact locations:
- Visit the Waverider Waypoint in Elynas, then go north following the shore to find the first machine that contains the Mysterious Core.
- Still in Elynas, use the western south-most Waypoint. Follow the waterfall and river down to the shore to find the second Mysterious Core. This location is close to where players would find one of the Enigmatic Pages required for the Book of Revealing in Genshin Impact.
- Now, look to the island on the right. Use the Teleport Waypoint on the south-most side and go northeast.
- Head to the Talent Domain in Genshin Impact Fontaine and go a little bit north for the fourth Mysterious Core location.
- Use the Teleport Waypoint northeast of #4 and go west.
- Teleport again to the Waypoint to the north and head west once more.
- Finally, players can either swim north (slightly northwest) or use the Waypoint northeast of the Fontaine Fishing Association and swim south.
After all Mysterious Cores are collected, head back to Henri and give him the item. If players forget where he is, then they can teleport to the underwater Talent domain, and swim south to the shore. Henri should be somewhere there.
Players can’t continue the Truly Mouthwatering! Quest in Genshin Impact unless all seven cores are available, though, so no need to go back to Henri until then. If this condition is fulfilled, however, the man will call his "boss", which turns out to be none other than someone from the Fatui.
Upon seeing the protagonist, the Fatui gets spooked and tries to run away, but the two men in black stop the "boss" and bury them in the sands as they did to Henri earlier. This will lead to extreme confusion from Henri, and the two men, Hunter and Turner, explain that the Fatui in Genshin Impact is making the protagonist dismantle machines that control water quality in Fontaine.
Of course, this came as a shock as Henri was told that the machines are bad for the environment and thought he was doing a good thing. Fortunately, despite committing something that can be considered a crime, the men in black are instructed to not tangle with the main character.
How To Use Mysterious Core In Genshin Impact
To use the seven Mysterious Cores, players must trigger the Truly Mouthwatering! Quest in Genshin Impact. Teleport to the northern shore of Poisson (use the Fontaine talent domain and head south) to stumble upon Henri buried underground and about to be attacked by Crabs.
The Quest later on moves forward and Travelers need to play an association game to figure out who buried Henri and why. After deducting the correct answers, Henri promises players a hefty reward if they manage to retrieve all seven Mysterious Cores.
