As part of the Mimi Tomo event in Genshin Impact, players are interacting with Hilichurls in all new ways. While these used to just be considered enemies that the player would often mindlessly slaughter, fans now know that they have their own language and society. Translating this language is an important part of completing these event quests, specifically when it relates to what time they can find the Unusual Hilichurl. The Handy Handbook of Hilichurlian given to the player by Ella Musk will certainly help in this regard, but sometimes it's easier to just look up what a phrase means.

Typically speaking, these event quests have two main parts. The first part involves translating a request from a Hilichurl and fulfilling it in order to receive a hint. After that is done, Genshin Impact players need to use this hint to determine when and where they can find the Unusual Hilichurl and then go fight him.

After completing some of the Hilichurl's request, they will tell the player that the Unusual Hilichurl can be found at Mosi Aba Nunu. Translating this phrase directly may not make much sense, as Mosi means "Eat," Aba means "Before," and Nunu means "Sleep." The key here is to find the translation of the phrase in the journal. Mosi aba nunu means between sunset and late night, so players will need to use the in game wait feature to fast forward time to these hours. Anywhere between 6 PM and midnight should work to satisfy this requirement.

Once the player has waited to the appropriate time, check the map and there should be a yellow circle somewhere indicating the general location of the Unusual Hilichurl. Players will need to find him in here and take him down in a fight. Unlike most Hilichurls, this one is actually very tough, with HP and damage comparable to that of a mini boss. Usually the fight isn't terribly difficult but players should definitely not go in expecting an easy time.

Defeating the Unusual Hilichurl should reward players with some nice items. Hero's Wit items can be used to increase the level of different characters in the party, while things like the furniture blueprint are useful in decorating the player's Serenitea Pot. Completing all of these Hilichurl sightings should allow players to take part in the event's finale as well, so it would be wise to keep up with it as much as possible.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and later on Switch.
