Mitachurls and Lawachurls in Genshin Impact are a developed version of Hilichurls. Even though the aging journey to become a Lawachurl is still not fully understood, it can be estimated that a Hilichurl should first become a Mitachurl, then a Lawachurl. These creatures are naturally the leaders of the tribes as they are the strongest of them all.
Defeating them requires players to be fully prepared as the Lawachurls arm themselves with an elemental shield. A broken shield will weaken them and leave them vulnerable to all kinds of attacks in Genshin Impact. Upon defeat, the level of the Mitachurls and Lawachurls determines whether they drop Black Crystal Horns and Ominous Masks.

Mitachurl And Lawachurl Locations In Mondstadt
Starfell Valley
In Starfell Valley, players can find five Mitachurls. Due to the possibility that the masked enemies may possess a wooden shield, it's recommended to have a Pyro user on the Genshin Impact team.
Galesong Hill
There are four Mitachurls in Galesong Hill, two of which are located on the western edges, and one is near the Eagle’s Eye Domain in Genshin Impact.
Windwail Highland
Players can locate four Mitachurls west of the Forsaken Rift Domain, three in Wolvendom, and one at the northern edge of Windwail Highland.
Brightcrown Mountains
The Brightcrown Mountains and Stormterror's Lair are home to some more Mitachurls.
Dragonspine
There are 10 Mitachurls and four Lawachurls in Dragonspine, they are mostly found on the area’s edges alongside some Hilichurls.
Mitachurl And Lawachurl Locations In Liyue
Qiongji Estuary
On the way from the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula Domain to Yaoguang Shoal shore, players can find three Mitachurls and a Lawachurl. Afterward, travelers can locate five Mitachurls north of the Qiongji Estuary Statue of the Seven and two in Guili Plains. Additionally, two more Mitachurls are located southwest of the Statue of the Seven.
Bishui Plain
A total of 11 Mitachurls and one Lawachurl can be defeated in Bishui Plain. They are among the game’s elite enemies, so it is best to come with well-built Genshin Impact characters.
Sea of Clouds
The Sea of Clouds area has four Mitachurls in Guyun Stone Forest and four around Mt.Tianheng.
Lisha
The northwestern route of the Domain of the Wayward Path has three Mitachurl, while its southwestern route has five Mitachurls. Moreover, one Lawachurl can be defeated in both directions.
Minlin
Minlin is the perfect area to farm Black Crystal Horns and Ominous Masks, as it has 15 Mitachurls and three Lawachurl on its lands. From the northern Waypoint, take the southeastern path all the way to Nantianmen to find all the masked enemies.

Narukami Island
Narukami Island Mitachurls and Lawachurls locations are:
- One Mitachurl in Byakko Plain
- One Lawachurl in the water, east of Byakko Plain
- One Mitachurl in the western part of Chinju Forest
- One is south of Mt. Yougou
- Two Mitachurls in Konda Village
- One Mitachurl in Araumi
Kannazuka
There are several Mitachurls and three Lawachurls on Kannazuka island, and they are mostly located on the island’s shores.
Seirai Island
Alongside the coasts of Seirai Island, travelers will face 12 Mitachurls and one Lawachurl in Genshin Impact.
Tsurumi Island
Players exploring Tsurumi Island will come across 14 Mitachurls and three Lawachurls.
Mitachurl Locations In Sumeru
Sumeru Mitachurls and Lawachurls locations are:
- Five Mitachurls and one Lawachurl can be found in the southern route of Passage of Ghouls
- One Mitachurls in The Sands of Al-Azif
- Four Mitachurls are scattered around Qusayr Al-Inkhida’
- One Mitachurl in Dunes of Steel
- One Mitachurl in The Sands of Three Canals
- One Lawachurl in the undergrounds of the Desert of Hadramaveth
- Three Mitachurls and two Lawachurls in the southern part of Ruins of Dahri
- Two Mitachurls east of Pardis Dhyai and one Lawachurl east of the Fragment of Childhood Dreams Domain in Genshin Impact
- One Mitachurl and one Lawachurl in northern parts of The Mausoleum of King Deshret undergrounds.

In Enkanomiya there are:
- Eight Mitachurls and one Lawachurl in The Narrows
- Six Mitachurls on Dainichi Mikoshi's edges
- Three Mitachurls and one Lawachurl in Evernight Temple
- One Mitachurl and one Lawachurl in The Serpent’s Heart
