Marcotte Station is the Aquabus stop Genshin Impact players will reach after taking the water-line transportation from the Court of Fontaine. After getting off, walking around the sidewalk will eventually lead Travelers to the Opera Epiclese, the building where trials and performances are held in.
Between the Marcotte Station and the Opera Epiclese, there’s an open field with a lot of Water Volume Detection Crystals in Genshin Impact. In the middle of it all, a sealed Hydro Monument stands tall, ready to be unlocked through the following steps.
Marcotte Station Hydro Monument Puzzle In Genshin Impact
To unlock the Hydro Monument between Marcotte Station and the Fountain of Lucine, players need to solve three puzzles in the area. In total, completing the entire task allows people to amass 20 Primogems, four Hydro Sigils, and two furnishing Blueprints. There’s no achievement for the completion of this puzzle, but the reward is still decent and only takes a few minutes to finish.
Water Volume Detection Crystal Puzzle #1
For the first Water Volume Detection Crystal puzzle in Genshin Impact Marcotte Station, find two Hilichurls digging. Approach the bush to find a hidden dig spot, then destroy the Hydro stone to make a small rain. This will activate the Water Volume Detection Crystal nearby and unlock the Exquisite Chest, which grants five Primogems and two Hydro Sigils.
Water Volume Detection Crystal Puzzle #2
Next, head west to another set of Water Volume Detection Crystal and an Exquisite Chest to spawn some enemies. If players have an AoE Hydro enabler like Kokomi, they can simply use abilities to activate the Crystals, but if not, don’t defeat the enemies and use them to fill the device with water. Like the first puzzle, five Primogems and two Hydro Sigils are also granted from this Exquisite Chest.
Water Volume Detection Crystal Puzzle #3
Finally, head north and there’ll be three Water Volume Detection Crystals aligned by the water. Move them so that all three are submerged in the water at the same time to unlock the nearby Remarkable Chest. Five Primogems and the Court of Justice’s Barrier furnishing Blueprint can be obtained from this treasure in Genshin Impact.
Marcotte Station Hydro Monument Reward
Once all three puzzles are solved, a small cutscene will start, showing the Hydro Monument in the middle is now unlocked. Hit it with Hydro, and it’ll trigger rain in the area, activating the Water Volume Detection Crystals that were previously hard to activate.
Completing the puzzle rewards people with a Remarkable Chest in Genshin Impact, which contains five Primogems and the Blueprint for a furnishing called Passage’s Plentiful Produce. Activating the Hydro Monument again in the future will cause rain in the area, so the nearby Romaritime Flowers can be harvested easily from then on.
