After meeting Sorush and eventually Zurvan in Genshin Impact, players will get a quest called Awakening’s Real Sound. In this task, Travelers must find three Kory Drums and five Drum Scores. Eventually, these scores will be used to play the Drums, and after all of it is done, a Pari called Rashnu will appear. Once both Mihir and Rashnu are available, return to Zurvan where Sorush will demand her Twin-Horned Chaplet. This will not only change Sorush’s appearance but will also allow the Pari to do greater tasks such as collecting the Great Songs of Khvarena.

Unlike the simple task of saving Mihir, waking up Rashnu is far more complicated as the Kory Drums are scattered in tricky places and players must solve some puzzles to obtain them. Among all the Korybantes, the Pyro Drum demands people to light up all the Bright Flame Altars in Genshin Impact.

How To Light Up All The Bright Flame Altars In Genshin Impact

light up all bright flame altars in Genshin Impact

To successfully light up all the Bright Flame Altars in Genshin Impact, players must approach all seven torches before the flame goes out. The seven Flame Altars are marked on the picture above, and players can follow the route on the right to ensure smooth completion.

The exclamation mark indicates a torch that can be reached using a Four-Leaf Sigil.

Approaching the torch is all it takes to light it up, so players don’t have to switch to a Pyro character like how a normal torch puzzle works in Genshin Impact.

Once all seven Bright Flame Altars are successfully lit, the Kory Drum’s seal will be removed and players can pick it up.

If players are confused about how to reach the west Kory Drum location, then they can simply use the western Teleport Waypoint, then glide down north. After gliding down, continue west to the challenge location.

Awakening’s Real Sound Quest In Genshin Impact

The Awakening’s Real Sound quest is unlocked along with the Asipattravana Itihasa in Genshin Impact, which means Sorush must speak to Zurvan at the end of The Splendorous Sky That Day quest. This mission is far longer than the Asipattravana Itihasa as players have to walk around back and forth to collect Drums and their scores, then return the Drums to play them.

While collecting the instrument, players will gain a hint on how to follow the Drum Scores. A note states that the notations are divided into three types: empty, half-full, and full. Empty represents a skip/wait, half-full means a light hit, and full means a heavy hit. The paper also mentioned that the notations can be read from left to right, top to bottom, like normal text. Additionally, the hint mentioned an interesting fact: there are no Anemo and Geo Korybantes.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
