Genshin Impact Leisurely Otters are clever creatures that inhabit the underwater around the Court of Fontaine. They are the most friendly, fluffy creatures players can come across during their diving journey in Fontaine.

However, locating them can be a hindrance as they are mostly hiding behind a Bullet Barnacle, or near an Echoing Conch in Genshin Impact. Also, some Leisurely Otters may be trapped behind an invisible barrier, inside a Fontemer Grass, or a cage. Freeing the little fury creatures will be rewarding, as it grants travelers seven Common Chests, a Precious treasure, and the chance to be surrounded by 10 cute Otters in Genshin Impact.

All Leisurely Otter Locations In Genshin Impact

There are a total of seven Leisurely Otters to save in Genshin Impact. The small creatures are scattered all around the Court of Fontaine.

Leisurely Otter #1

The first Leisurely Otter is trapped in the northern part of Chemin de L’Espoir, behind an invisible barrier. To free the little creature:

1. Activate the Echoing Conch.
2. Swim behind the pillars.
3. Attack the Crystal to break the trap.
4. Collect the Common Chest in Genshin Impact.

Leisurely Otter #2-3

The second Otter is behind a Bullet Barnacle in Genshin Impact, while the third Leisurely Otter is under the mercy of an Underwater Survey Mek. To reach their locations:

1. Teleport to the Court of Fontaine Region western underwater Waypoint.
2. Swim southeast to the second Otter location.
3. Destroy the Bullet Barnacle with the Xenochromatic Crab’s Ability.
4. Collect the Common Chest.
5. Swim northeast to the third Otter location.
6. Defeat the Survey Mek to free them.
7. Open the Common Chest.

Leisurely Otter #4

Just like the previous Otter, the fifth Leisurely Otter is also trapped behind a Bullet Barnacle. Look for a Crab nearby and borrow the creature's attacks to destroy it and obtain a Common Chest.

Leisurely Otter #5-6

In the northwestern part of Salacia Plain, the fifth Leisurely Otter is locked inside a cage. Freeing them and other Blubberbeasts at the same location will reward players a hidden Exquisite Chest in Genshin Impact.

Leisurely Otter #7-8

At the center of Thalatta Submarine Canyon, the next Otter is sealed inside a Fontemer Grass. To free them:

1. Get the Xenochromatic Hunter’s Ray’s Ability.
2. Hit the Resilience and Vitality of the Fermented Seagrass simultaneously.
3. Collect the Common Chest offered by the Otter.

From the previous location, head southeast to locate the seventh Otter who is inside a destructible wooden box. If players are unable of locating the box, they can use the Echoing Conch nearby to uncover its exact location in Genshin Impact.

Leisurely Otter #9-11

By default, the three final Leisurely Otters can be found at their home in Genshin Impact, meaning that players can take the Precious Chest directly from their home after finding all the previous Otters.
