A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed that four banner characters, including Wriothesley and Hu Tao, will make their debut in version 4.1 later this year. Considering the Fontaine update for Genshin Impact draws nearer, there's no surprise that more leaks about the upcoming characters and enemies have been making the rounds online. However, details about the potential version 4.1 banners have been scarce since a couple of leaks surfaced on the internet earlier this year.

In a special program, Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse provided a glimpse into the Fontaine update, which adds new artifacts, battle pass weapons, and event wishes for Tartaglia, Yelan, and Zhongli. One of the biggest takeaways from the live stream is the underwater sections, which are explorable terrains littered with puzzles and fearsome enemies. There will be no oxygen limit when traversing these sections, and players will absorb abilities from aquatic creatures to empower their characters. Beneath the surface of the water, they will be on the hunt for treasures and bosses. It has also been confirmed that players will utilize underwater currents to cover great distances fast.

A new Genshin Impact leak from Uncle YC has revealed that Wriothesley, Venti, Neuvilette, and Hu Tao will be added to the game in version 4.1 later this year. The prominent leaker didn't mention any banner order, which means when exactly they will appear in Teyvat is currently unknown. Though some previous leaks suggested that Raiden Shogun will get a banner in version 4.1, it looks like she will be replaced with Hu Tao. However, players should take this leak with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made.

Genshin Impact's Hu Tao has grown in popularity since her introduction two years ago. The five-star Pyro user deals consistent damage and fits well in many team compositions thanks to her move set. Venti, on the other hand, is a bow wielder whose offensive capabilities are reliant on getting his Constellations. His crowd-controlling abilities allow players to get the upper hand in combat against multiple enemies. If the recent leak turns out to be true, players will be able to add him to their squad soon.

Genshin Impact players have previously been treated to a couple of leaks about Wriothesley, who will probably be a Cryo user. After his appearance in a teaser trailer, many players on the game's subreddit claimed that the mysterious character looks similar to Honkai: Star Rail's Sampo. More information about his weapon type, lore, and talents should be provided soon. As for Neuvilette, he will be featured in version 4.0 as part of the Archon Quest.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
