Each Genshin Impact update has its beta phase which includes most of the new content for the next couple of weeks. Even though developer HoYoverse doesn't want new content to be leaked, it's safe to say that the leaks actually create additional hype for new characters and regions even months before they officially join the live servers.

A new post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has apparently revealed the boss model featuring one of the most popular characters in the game, the sixth Harbinger Scaramouche. The model shared in the Reddit post will apparently be used for his boss domain that could arrive in the upcoming months.

There has always been a lot of hype around this popular Genshin Impact character who made his first appearance during the quest "The Crisis Deepens." Even though he seemed like a friendly character, the Traveler and Mona realized Scaramouche's evil intentions before arranging a quick escape. It should be noted that the source of the leak seems to be unknown, however, popular leakers like hxg_diluc said that they think the leak is true, but they cannot confirm this information.

Many of the game's boss fights have different phases and this model will apparently be used for his second phase. Besides having his own boss domain, Scaramouche is also expected to join the playable roster fairly soon. According to previous leaks, his boss domain will apparently arrive in Genshin Impact Version 3.2, and he will most likely appear on a limited character banner one update later. Scaramouche was the only Harbinger that wasn't featured in the recent "A Winter Night's Lazzo" teaser which led many players to believe that rumors about him become a playable character are most likely true.

Popular leakers like hxg_diluc have revealed that the Scaramouche that will join the roster will be significantly different from the one players faced in some of the game's cutscenes. Even though he was portrayed as an Electro character, leaks have bee hinting that Scaramouche will be using the Anemo element.

Leaks have also revealed that he will have a similar playstyle to the recently released Shikanoin Heizou, who prefers close combat despite having a catalyst as his weapon type. There is a chance that developer HoYoverse realized how well received Heizou's fighting style was in the community, and they've decided to try it on a much more popular character with a higher five-star rarity.

Genshin Impact is available for mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch version also in development.
