Each of the seven Genshin Impact elements are tied with the Teyvat's seven main nations. So far developer HoYoverse has introduced three major regions with Inazuma being the most recent addition.

Apart from the Traveler, each Genshin Impact character can manipulate only one of the seven elements. According to multiple Genshin Impact leaks, a new major region is just around the corner and so is the long-awaited Dendro element.

A popular leaker named Genshin Intel has revealed more details about one of the upcoming elemental reactions named Intensified. This reaction will be triggered if players apply Electro on Dendro and vice versa. Previous leaks have revealed that this reaction will give a significant damage buff for the first element that was applied. For example, if players apply Electro on Dendro, the target will receive increased Dendro damage. Genshin Intel has confirmed that the elemental reaction damage will scale with the Elemental Mastery stat that belongs to the character that deals the buffed damage.

Multiple replies in the comment section claim that it's weird that the buff doesn't scale with the Elemental Mastery of the character that applied the trigger element. This means that players will have to implement additional Elemental Mastery to their DPS characters in order to have greater benefits from the new elemental reaction. This leak, if it is accurate, confirms the previous rumors that the recently released character, Yae Miko, will most likely have great synergy with the new Dendro element.

One of Miko's passive talents increases the damage potential of her Sesshou Sakura by 0.15% for each point of Elemental Mastery she has. The addition of new elemental reactions will surely impact the current Genshin Impact meta meaning that Electro users like Yae Miko could become S-tier characters. The same leaker has already confirmed that Intensified won't be the only new elemental reaction that will arrive with the new element.

Overgrown will apparently be a unique reaction that will cause explosive seeds to drop on the floor. This reaction can be triggered by combining Dendro and Hydro. There is still no official information about the release date of the new element, but it's expected to arrive with the new major update that will introduce the long-awaited mysterious nation named Sumeru. Credible leaks have already revealed that Version 2.8 will be the last Inazuma arc update which means that players could expect the new region to arrive at the end of August.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
