Though all eyes are on Gaming and Xianyun as Version 4.4 edges closer to release, Genshin Impact players can find out an early overview of what Clorinde and Sigewinne will add to the character roster. Whereas the meta has revolved around Hyperbloom and Vaporize teams in the past year and a half, Fontaine's focus seems to be about providing alternatives in building a powerful team in Genshin Impact. Wriothesley and Furina have given Freeze new life, and Navia transformed the way people look at Crystallize shards.

Version 4.4 will continue this pattern, as Xianyun is set to make Plunging Attacks viable for more than just Xiao and Kazuha. While some Cloud Retainer fans were hoping that Xianyun would have a more flexible role, Diluc mains are beyond excited to see Dragonstrike gameplay reach new heights. As confirmed by several sources in the Genshin Impact leaks community, Clorinde and Sigewinne will be tied to the Electro-Charged Elemental Reaction. While details about their exact ability kit are unknown, it would appear that Clorinde will be a 5-Star Electro Sword Main DPS, while Sigewinne will most likely be a 4-Star Hydro Bow Sub DPS. Furthermore, Sigewinne will have synergy with Clorinde in Genshin Impact, which hopefully means that they'll share the same Event Banner in Version 4.7.

That being said, the leaks imply that Clorinde will also be an option for Overload, which would make for some exciting team-building. With Genshin Impact's Arlecchino expected to be the premium option for the Overload Elemental Reaction, it stands to reason that Clorinde and Chevreuse will be some of her best teammates, depending on how potent Clorinde's off-field Electro application will be compared to Fischl or Raiden. Given that Clorinde's ability kit will revolve around Energy Recharge, there is a possibility of her being a Raiden sidegrade for Overload teams.

Since Arlecchino, Clorinde, and Sigewinne are still months away from their official debut, it should be important to note that this information is subject to change. However, given the separate Genshin Impact leak confirming that Version 4.6 will add a new artifact domain with an Overload and Electro-Charged set, it would seem that the niche of these upcoming Genshin Impact characters is firmly set in stone.
