Highlights

  • In Genshin Impact version 4.6, the Vibro-Crystal Research event could return, offering players a challenging domain experience.
  • Completing side activities like the event is a great way to earn Primogems and upgrade materials outside of the main storyline.
  • The upcoming update may also expand the region of Fontaine and introduce new characters like Arlecchino to the roster.

A new Genshin Impact leak suggests the Vibro-Crystal Research event will return in version 4.6. In Genshin Impact, players can try out a variety of PvE activities, from puzzles and time-limited events to daily commissions. Completing these side activities is one of the easiest ways to earn Primogems and upgrade materials. Outside the game's main storyline, side quests and other PvE content offer players an engaging experience.

In every update, Genshin Impact provides Travelers with additional things, such as Archon quests and events, to do in its immersive world. The enemy lineup for the Spiral Abyss constantly changes, and new bosses appear in different locations on the map. Besides, there are weekly quests/domains players can complete to get rewards. One thing to note is that some of these activities involve challenges against formidable enemies.

As per the latest leak from HomDGCat, Genshin Impact version 4.6 will see the return of the Vibro-Crystal Research event, which previously took place in April 2022 and March 2023. If HoYoverse sticks to its usual update schedule, the event will be released in late April. For those who haven't joined Vibro-Crystal Research before, it's a domain challenge that requires players to choose a difficulty and clear enemies within a specified time. As in Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss, Travelers must build their team with characters they own before diving into combat.

The event takes place in a multi-level domain, meaning players will fight through different floors filled with enemies. In addition to Mora, Hero's Wit, and upgrade materials, it gives away a reasonable amount of Primogem, which can be used to replenish the Original Resin.

Genshin Impact Version 4.6 Could Expand Fontaine

Before the release of Natlan, Genshin Impact version 4.6 will allegedly expand Fontaine into a sub-region, named Kapim. This location is where players will continue the Fontaine story and take on new elemental enemies. As in other regions of Teyvat, Travelers will find puzzles and treasure chests in Kapim.

If early leaks are accurate, Genshin Impact will add Arlecchino to the playable roster in version 4.6, along with a couple of reruns and weapons. The upcoming five-star character is allegedly a Polearm user who commands the Pyro element. Like the Hydro Archon Furina, she utilizes a multi-stage combat mechanism to absorb enemy HP, dish out AoE damage, and accelerate attack speed. Moreover, Arlecchino transforms into the Abyssal Mantle form and amplifies her damage. Recent leaks suggest the character has a promising kit; however, players can't be sure of anything about her until the release of version 4.6.
