A new Genshin Impact leak reveals five brand-new weapons that will be part of the Battle Pass system. Once a player reaches Adventure Rank 20, they will be able to unlock this feature which includes a separate leveling mechanic. In order to level up the Battle Pass, players need to complete various objectives. This feature has a free-to-play and a paid variation that grants additional rewards such as the BP Bounty which allows players to choose one of five weapons. Even though Genshin Impact has changed a lot since its release, developer HoYoverse did not make a lot of significant adjustments to the way the Battle Pass works.RELATED: Genshin Impact's New Fontaine Teaser Reveals Tons of New CharactersAt the moment, Genshin Impact's BP Bounty chest features five different weapons: The Black Sword, Serpent Spine, Solar Pearl, The Viridescent Hunt, and Deathmatch. Out of these weapons, the Serpent Spine claymore is widely considered the best choice, especially if players manage to acquire all of its Refinement Levels. A new Twitter post by the credible leaker known as merlin_impact has revealed that HoYoverse will finally change the Battle Pass weapon lineup in the upcoming Fontaine update. According to the leak, the changed Battle Pass will feature the following weapons:

  • Scion of the Blazing Sun - four-star bow
  • Wolf-Fang - four-star sword
  • Talking Stick - four-star claymore
  • Ballad of the Fjords - four-star polearm
  • Sacrificial Jade - four-star catalyst

The Scion of the Blazing Sun bow will be a great budget DPS sword since it features Crit Rate as the secondary stat. The bow will be the go-to choice for most Charged Attack users in the game such as the Cryo user Ganyu or the Forest Watcher Tighnari. Wolf-Fang will also provide decent main and secondary stats that can be used by a lot of main or sub-DPS characters in the game.

Its passive improves the characters' Elemental Skill and Burst damage potential. The Ballad of the Fjords has a very simple passive effect that increases the weapon holder's passive Elemental Mastery if there are three different elements present in the party which means that it can be used in the famous Burgeon team comp.

The new catalyst Sacrificial Jade will buff the weapon holder's max. HP by 20% and Elemental Mastery by 80 if the character is not deployed on the field for 6 seconds. Talking Stick will increase the character's ATK by 16% for 10 seconds if they get affected by the Pyro element which is a very specific passive effect that can work in specific Genshin Impact team compositions.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
