A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more info about an upcoming character named Arlecchino who will play a major role in the overall Fontaine storyline. She belongs to the eleven Harbingers who are known as high-ranking officers in the infamous Fatui organization, one of the main evil factions in the game.
Over the last couple of months, numerous rumors have been mentioning Arlecchino and her potential involvement in the Fontaine Archon Chapter. These rumors have been confirmed by Genshin Impact's recent teaser video in which she was portrayed as the main villain.
One of the main debates about Arlecchino is about her playability and most leakers agree that she will join the playable roster in future months. A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that her kit is described as "Puppeteering" which led many players to believe that she will be able to summon elemental lifeforms that fight for her. However, these leaks and speculations should still be taken with a grain of salt since Arlecchino's release is probably many months away. When it comes to her elemental powers, previous leaks have confirmed that she will be a new Pyro user and the first Harbinger to use this element in Genshin Impact.
At the end of the recently released The Final Feast teaser video, Arlecchino can be seen standing beside Lyney and Lynette which could mean that these characters are tied with the infamous Harbinger. Many fans speculate that Lyney's and Lynette's origins could be traced back to the House of Hearts orphanage in Snezhnaya, which is managed by Arlecchino. Players will have to wait until version 4.0 to confirm if this theory is true, as both Lyney and Lynette are scheduled to be introduced in this update.
When it comes to her weapon type, Arlecchino is rumored to be a sword user which fits her overall design. Recent beta leaks have revealed the character's complete model which means that she will most likely make an appearance in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 4.0.
According to previous rumors, Arlecchino won't be the only Harbinger to appear in Fontaine's storyline as Sandrone seems to also be tied to the upcoming Archon Quest. This character is known for modifying Ruin Machines, which is why she can be seen standing alongside a Ruin Guard in the famous "A Winter Night's Lazzo" trailer released a little over a year ago.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
