With the recent Genshin Impact 1.6 update, it seems that a new region will be right around the corner as Kazuha's questline revolves around preparing to get into the closed-off Inazuma. Not much has been revealed about the region apart from the fact that the Electro Archon has isolated Inazuma from the rest of Teyvat. However, miHoYo recently revealed a number of upcoming characters and it's likely that a few of them will appear as banners during the Inazuma update.
When Genshin Impact was still in closed beta testing, Ayaka was one of the featured characters and it seems that she will finally arrive as the face of the Inazuma region. miHoYo also revealed Yoimiya, a Pyro bow user and Sayu, an Anemo claymore user. Leaks of character models have also indicated that other Inazuma characters will appear despite not being officially announced. With so many upcoming characters, Genshin Impact fans will want to know who will appear on the first Inazuma banner so they can plan accordingly.

Confirmed Upcoming Genshin Impact Characters
With how many leaks Genshin Impact seemed to experience over the past few months, it's no surprise that miHoYo decided to officially reveal some of new Inazuma characters themselves. Alongside Kazuha, Genshin Impact officially confirmed that Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu will be coming to the game and it's likely that these three characters will appear in Inazuma. Ayaka is a Cryo sword user who initially appeared during the closed beta tests. Appearing once again in the preview trailers for Inazuma, it seems that Ayaka is the poster character for the region and will play a large role in the plot.
Yoimiya on the other hand, is a Pyro bow user and while she hasn't appeared in any trailers, miHoYo has officially revealed her on the Genshin Impact Twitter. The owner of Naganohara Fireworks, Yoimiya is linked to the Inazuma region and leaks have indicated that she also has a relationship of some kind with Ayaka. The final character revealed by miHoYo was Sayu, an Anemo claymore user who is a ninja and wears a tanuki costume.
Which Genshin Impact Banner Will Arrive First in Inazuma
As past Genshin Impact banners have shown, it's likely that there will be more characters appearing over the course of many updates to the Inazuma region. However, as miHoYo has only confirmed Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Sayu, it's safe to assume that these will be the first three characters to appear on the banner. As it stands, Ayaka and Yoimiya will likely be 5-star characters while Sayu will likely be a 4-star. While miHoYo hasn't officially indicated which banner will come first, the most likely candidate is Ayaka.
As the face of the Inazuma region, Ayaka seems highly crucial to the plotline and setting up the narrative for players once they arrive. On the other hand, Yoimiya seems to have a less impactful role in Inazuma and she will most likely appear once the story has settled a little. Furthermore, Yoimiya is known as the "Queen of the Summer Festival" and is in charge of fireworks displays. As Inazuma is based on Japan, it makes sense for Yoimiya to appear in August as that's when Japan typically has most of their fireworks festivals. Since Sayu is a 4-star, she could be slotted in either banner but leaks indicate that she will appear during Yoimiya's banner. While the banner order hasn't been officially confirmed by miHoYo yet, it should give Genshin Impact players an idea of how they should plan their rolls for Inazuma.
