Genshin Impact is a game known for its bountiful landscapes and equally bountiful rewards that can sometimes go unnoticed for players. Currently sitting at over 1000+ achievements available to claim, the game also includes hidden achievements that are not on the standard list.

During the release of Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact, players and fans were introduced to a new area known as the Desert of Hadramaveth and a new boss - the Setekh Wenut. Much like previous versions, this new boss joined the enemy lineup as players could obtain ascension materials for the new playable character Al Haitham.

I Hate Em Myself And Flat Out Hidden Achievement

Wenut location

In timing with the culmination of the lengthy Golden Slumber quest in Version 3.1, players were introduced to its sequel - The Dirge of Bilqis, where the Traveler and Jeht embark on a journey to the Eternal Oasis with the help of the Liloupar the Jinni. In turn, the Jinni helps players to navigate the raging sandstorm and solve puzzles.

kaveh and wenut

During exploration, players running around the Desert of Hadramaveth will repeatedly encounter the Wenut in numerous areas. For the I Hate Em’ Myself achievement, all players have to do is get hit by a Wenut attack. The apex predator will be constantly lurking beneath the golden sands and will only attack if players are in its territory. Players can follow the below indicators to where the Wenut mainly attacks and keep heading southeast across the sands. A pointer to look out for would be the bright green/yellow circle that will form beneath a character's feet - indicating that the Wenut is about to launch its attack.

Weathered Rock

The Flat Out hidden achievement can also be completed at the same time with a little bit more strategy. Players will need to get the Wenut to attack the weathered rocks in the area, whilst strategically positioning themselves within its territory so that the predator would be able to recognize it. These weathered rocks can easily go unnoticed, however they do reveal something random whenever they are broken by the Wenut. Players can use the short delay before the Wenut attacks to lure it towards the weathered rocks, which can be found using the player's elemental sight. These weathered rocks turn white under elemental sight and can be easily spotted amidst the gold background of the sands - especially when it comes to solving puzzles.

Both achievements can also be obtained simultaneously, where players not only get hit, but also manage to get the Wenut to hit the weathered rock. The 2 birds 1 stone trick comes into play here and players will be able to get those extra 10 Primogems to add to their collection. Each achievement awards players with 5 each.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
