A Genshin Impact revenue chart shows that the ongoing double banner that features Hu Tao and Yelan is doing surprisingly well when it comes to revenue. Limited Character Banners offer players a set of limited characters for approximately three to four weeks.

As Genshin Impact's roster keeps expanding with every new update, HoYoverse has introduced the double banner mechanic which allows players to pull for two different five-star characters within the same banner cycle. The five-star pity as well as the lineup of four-star characters are shared between the two banners.

A Reddit user named saksham6 has shared an interesting chart that shows how well the ongoing Yelan and Hu Tao double banner did after three days. According to the chart, Yelan and Hu Tao are currently placed in the second spot and there is a chance that they could become the most successful banner in the game. However, it should be noted that the data shown in the chart only represents iOS devices from the Chinese servers which means that the overall revenue numbers are much higher. Many fans claim that even though they thought the banner could do well, they were not expecting it to be in the top 2 after two days, especially considering that the revenue record was recently broken by Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato.

The main reason behind the banner's success is probably the fact that it features two S-tier five-star characters. Yelan is considered one of, if not the best off-field Hydro character in the game as her kit provides tons of damage and elemental application even when she gets swapped out. She's also a very flexible unit who can fit almost any team composition in the game including the popular Raiden National party.

Many players skipped Yelan's previous banners as she was widely perceived to be a slightly stronger version of the four-star Hydro character Xingqiu. However, since then she's proven to be one of the best supports in Genshin Impact with a unique play style, just like the second character on the banner, Hu Tao.

There has been a lot of hype around this Pyro polearm character as she was not featured on a banner since November 2021. Unlike Yelan, Hu Tao primary role is main DPS since she can deal tons of damage, but players need to keep track of her HP in order to fulfill her potential.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
