Genshin Impact is a massive game with a similarly massive amount of achievements, currently sitting at over 900, and many of them are hidden from the player's view until they have been achieved. Like most updates, the release of the Enkanomiya region in version 2.4 brought with it many new hidden achievements to collect for the Primogem rewards.

One hidden achievement in Enkanomiya, "The Children of God Shall Dance," can be completed by finding and talking to seven different hidden NPCs in the Evernight Temple. Earning this achievement will reward players with 5 Primogems and a bit more lore and world-building for the Enkanomiya region. In order to be eligible for this achievement, players must have already completed "The Phaetons' Syrtos" world quest.

How To Get The Children Of God Shall Dance Achievement In Genshin Impact

locations for the genshin impact children of god achievement

This map shows the locations of all seven NPCs. Read on for more information on unlocking this questline and their individual locations.

The ghostly NPCs of Enkanomiya only appear during Evernight, so be sure to switch to the time if Enkanomiya is in Whitenight.

Step 1: Finding Ion in Evernight Temple

In order to find the first hidden NPC, players should start at the southernmost teleport of Evernight Temple. From the teleport location, players should head west until seeing the plateau with partially destroyed temple wall remnants underneath it. Looking into the destroyed wall remnants, players should see an almost enclosed square section, and inside it will be two tables, one of which will be holding a lantern.

Players should keep in mind that they likely can not see the NPC inside from where they are currently looking due to the way that Genshin Impact renders these ghost NPCs. Players should glide over to this square, and in front of the table will be the ghost of a child, Ion.

Step 2: Finding Orupeusu in Evernight Temple

The next ghost child, Orupeusu, should be extremely simple for players to find and there is a chance of having already talked to him prior to talking to Ion. Simply head back out of the opening from where players spoke to Ion, and Orupeusu will be immediately to the left, standing next to bushes and a broken railing.

Step 3: Finding Piramumon in Evernight Temple

From the location of Orupeusu, looking up from here will allow the player to see a ledge of land with tree roots hanging from the bottom of it. Players should climb up the destroyed walls until getting onto that ledge, and from there, just climb up the remaining few ledges that essentially act as steps leading directly to Piramumon.

Step 4: Finding Rikoru in Evernight Temple

Rikoru is yet another easy ghost to find, as, assuming the player has their draw distance set high enough, this ghost can be seen from where the player should currently be.

After speaking to Piramumon, players should turn and look in the direction that Piramumon was looking, where a broken piece of wall that has gold engravings and a lantern hanging from it should be visible. If players look directly next to this wall, it is possible to just slightly make out the ghostly figure of Rikoru. Players should glide over and talk to him to complete step 4.

Step 5: Finding Isumenasu in Evernight Temple

Isumenasu is a very easy ghost to find, but the most complicated to actually speak to. From where the player spoke to Rikoru, they should simply continue to the right and jump down to the platform path below. In the opening to the north will be Isumenasu, but unless the player has been here before and already completed the puzzle, he will be blocked off by a barrier. If this is the case, the player should walk past the opening to the very end of the platform path from where a "place of essence worship" will be easily seen on the other side of the wall.

Players need to jump over, grab the Whitenight essence from the "place of essence worship" and carry it up to the roof of the building that Isumenasu is in, switching the day-night mechanism to Whitenight. Players should then return to the room where Isumenasu is located and hit the triangular mechanism once. Once again, change the day-night mechanism back to Evernight, and finally proceed back to talk to Isumenasu.

Step 6: Finding Surepio in Evernight Temple

At this point of the achievement hunt, players are going to want to once again teleport to the southernmost teleport of Evernight Temple. The two remaining ghosts, Surepio and Risutaiosu, are both much more accessible if approached from a higher point.

For Surepio, players can head north from the teleport and look down at what appears to be a destroyed bridge or entrance to a temple. The player should follow the descent of this broken walkway until they can fall off of it, in which case, simply glide back toward it upon falling and enter the temple. Surepio will simply be standing in the entrance, likely close to where the player has landed.

Step 7: Finding Risutaiosu in Evernight Temple

Risutaiosu is standing in a slightly annoying location to reach but is overall pretty simple, as the rest have been. From the area players found Surepio, head back out of the temple and follow the path until they no longer can. Looking down and to the left of this path, players will notice a tree branch sticking out from the wall with green leaves hanging off of it.

Players will want to glide toward this tree and grab onto the small area of land directly above it, proceeding to climb up just a little bit until they access the small hidden cubby where Risutaiosu can be found. Explaining how to find Risutaiosu can be a bit difficult, so players should consult the image above for a better understanding of where the ghost is hiding.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
