The Great Snowboar King is one of the many available bosses in Genshin Impact. However, unlike the other ones, this enemy is not needed to raise any character. Instead, this boss is solely there as a means to quickly obtain some Genshin Impact Raw Meats. This ingredient can be used for a wide variety of dishes, making it a good idea to periodically visit this opponent.
Although beating the Great Snowboar King is less difficult compared to the other world bosses, the enemy still has its own move set that needs to be acknowledged. Here are a few tricks that can be a great help when challenging this Genshin Impact boss.
The Great Snowboar King's Location In Genshin Impact
The Great Snowboar King can be found southeast of Dragonspine's Statue of the Seven. Players have to glide down to the marked area, where they will be able to see frozen Boars once they get close enough to the location.
How To Beat The Great Snowboar King In Genshin Impact
To summon the Great Snowboar King, players have to melt the frozen Boars and slay them. Unlike regular pigs that'd disappear once startled, these Dragonspine Boars will run around aimlessly until players harvest their meat.
Once the three Boars are defeated, the Great Snowboar King will appear from a little dent in the mountain.
Before the Great Snowboar King appears, a small prompt will be visible on the screen. Then, this mini-boss will immediately charge at the character, dealing large Physical damage on hit. Try to either have a shielder on the team or dodge the attack as the boss will chisel the character's HP.
If players have a Geo character in the team, then they can place a Geo Construct in front of the boss's spawn point before slaying the last frozen Boar. This will cause the Great Snowboar King to get "stunned" as soon as it attempts to attack.
Players can use this trick (making the Great Snowboar King hit a wall or obstacle) three times before the boss enters its Rage State. When this happens, the boss will no longer be stunned when hitting obstacles.
Another move the Great Snowboar King would do is to summon four smaller Boars. Then all of them will launch a snowball after a short time.
If players got hit by this attack, then their view will be blocked by snow, making it harder to dodge the Great Snowboar King's next move.
If players took too long to kill this boss and let it hit the wall three times, then the Great Snowboar King will enter a Rage State. This form can easily be distinguished by its red eyes.
Now, the enemy gains a new ability where it will jump repeatedly. When it jumps, the Great Snowboar King will deal Physical damage. Travelers will also notice red circles around the arena. If players stand in this AoE, they will get hit by Cryo damage and be slowed down. This can be deadly because it will be harder for people to dodge the Great Snowboar King's attacks. As the boss will have a higher attack in this state, players need to be even more careful if they are playing without a shielder.
After defeating the Great Snowboar King in Genshin Impact, players will earn themselves six to ten Genshin Impact Chilled Meats. This ingredient can be processed to regular Raw Meat at any cooking spot.
