Going into the Secret Room in the Trail of Drake and Serpent is one of the many puzzles in Genshin Impact. This task will grant players one of the three Reins of Revival Fragments. Afterward, the fragments will be pieced together with the Golden Bridle players found earlier. It is said that the Reins of Revival have the power to command spirits to speak, and so restoring the precious treasure will display the hero's "royal right" over Enkanomiya.
Of course, as it's meant to be a test, Genshin Impact players shouldn't expect the trial to be easy. There'll be puzzles and challenges up ahead. If Travelers are struggling in the Evernight Temple, this article will explain how to go into the secret room and solve the puzzle.
How To Enter The Secret Room In Genshin Impact
South to the Evernight Temple’s island, under the Waypoint, lies a small hidden room underground. Players can reach it if they keep descending down.
Once players reach the Secret Room, it will be locked with a sealed Daises of Night next to it. To unseal the Device, they can follow these steps:
- Switch to Whitenight, spreading light all over Enkanomiya.
- The Device will disappear, and a handful of Rifthounds will appear instead.
- Defeat the Rifthounds.
- Switch back to Evernight and the Daises of Night Device will be unsealed.
After following these steps, players can now press on the Device and open the Secret Room.
After getting in, change the cycle of Enkanomiya to “day” again. This will grant players the ability to interact with the Devices and Mechanisms available inside the Secret Room.
How To Finish The Secret Room Puzzle In Genshin Impact
Getting inside the Secret Room is one step closer to finishing The Trail of Drake and Serpent quest. The first thing players will notice would be two handles (Right and Left), and a Triangular Mechanism. Travelers should interact with each Mechanism carefully to open the way inside the Secret Room.
First, head to the Triangular Mechanism and hit it. That will cause a wall to move into unused space.
Then, move to the Right Handle and activate it. A couple of doors will open and close. But most importantly, it will open the main door that leads further inside the Secret Room.
Afterward, hit the Triangular Mechanism again and move the wall one more time into the newly opened space.
Now is the time for the Left Handle. Players have to activate the switch to open a new space for the wall to move into next.
Once Travelers hits the Triangular Mechanism for the last time, the wall will move into the new empty space created by the last move.
And lastly, activate the Left Handle one last time and the road to the Secret Room will open.
However, note that there are several solutions to this Genshin puzzle. This direction is simply one of the available methods.
Inside the Secret Room, there'll be a sealed chest in the middle of an empty room. Players will have to defeat many Rifthounds to unseal it.
Opening the chest will finish the quest and Travelers will obtain Reins of Revival Fragment (Temple).
