Just like most 4-star units in Genshin Impact, it’s not that expensive to collect Sethos’ Constellations. Having the chance to pull another Sethos every 10 pulls is always better than going for 70 more pulls to get one more copy.
It’s still a waste if you’re going for a character that has no worth in his Constellations. For that, this guide will showcase and rate Sethos Constellation in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact: Clorinde Ascension and Talent Materials List
Champion Duelist and iconic Electro character, Clorinde is now available in Genshin Impact, becoming the first Electro character since Cyno.
Are Sethos Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Yes, Sethos Constellations are worth it in Genshin Impact. As his entire kit depends on his Shadowpiercing Shots, every single Sethos Constellation buffs or adds small utility to them.
C1 - Sealed Shrine's Spiritsong
Effect | The CRIT Rate of Shadowpiercing Shot is increased by 15%. |
---|---|
Importance | Medium |
Adding a 15% Crit Rate to Sethos’s Charged attacks is a step in the right direction to improve his performance in Aggravate teams in Genshin Impact. With this added Crit Rate, it’s easier to build Sethos with more Crit DMG on his Bows or Artifacts’ main stats.
C2 - Papyrus Scripture of Silent Secrets
Effect | When any of the following conditions are met, Sethos gains a 15% Electro DMG Bonus for 10s that may stack twice, with each stack duration counted independently:
|
---|---|
Importance | High |
As a unit that mostly scales with Elemental Mastery, it’s easy to see Sethos perform well enough in Hyperbloom and Overloaded reactions in Genshin Impact. However, you can start seeing him do more in Quicken teams after the 15% Crit Rate increase from his C1 and the 30% Electro DMG increase from Sethos C2. Both these buffs have no notable effect on any of his reactions, except the one that scales with his DMG and Crit, which is Aggravate.
C4 - Beneficent Plumage
Effect | When a Shadowpiercing Shot or Dusk Bolt strikes 2 or more opponents, all nearby party members gain 80 Elemental Mastery for 10s. |
---|---|
Importance | High |
Since he will always be surrounded by characters that rely on Elemental Mastery like he does, it’s good for Sethos to have a useful Constellation that increases his and the entire’s team Elemental Mastery. It’s mostly effective in transformative reactions teams, such as Hyperbloom teams in Genshin Impact.
C6 - Pylon of the Sojourning Sun Temple
Effect | After Shadowpiercing Shot strikes an opponent, the Elemental Energy consumed by the Passive Talent "Black Kite's Enigma" will be returned. This effect can be triggered up to once every 15s. You must first unlock the Passive Talent "Black Kite's Enigma." |
---|---|
Importance | Medium |
Having Sethos get his Energy back when performing his Shadowpiercing Shot can be good enough to add one more Charged attack to his combo. It would rarely be good to use his Ult since Sethos depends more on his Charged attacks instead of his Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact. The Constellation has a cooldown of 15 seconds, which means it’s a once-in-rotation occurrence.
