Underground areas are no stranger for Genshin Impact players, especially after experiencing Inazuma and Sumeru explorations. However, so far, there’s no capital that includes an underground area like Fontaine does. Finding the entrance to the secret area may seem confusing as there’s no hole that leads to it, and the map only shows two possible entrances.
The solution on how to get to the Court of Fontaine underground area in Genshin Impact is actually really simple. First, players must first find a large blue door heading downwards from one of the two circular entrances in the underground map. Then, head there from the overground area, and upon entering the blue door, there will be a large hole in the middle of the room that leads to the underground.
How To Get To Court Of Fontaine Underground In Genshin Impact
There are two entrances players can take to reach the underground area in the Court of Fontaine in Genshin Impact.
First, head to the Grocery Store south from Fontaine’s Souvenir Shop, Bertin’s House of Curiosities. Face the stairs on the northwest, then turn left before the stairs to find a descending road. Enter the large blue door to find a big hole with stairs going down. Climb or simply plunge down to reach an underground area called Fleuve Cendre.
Alternatively, players can reach the location by teleporting to Court of Fontaine’s Statue of the Seven, then glide south to find two sets of stairs next to each other. Take the left stairs and descend to find a similar blue door as the first route. Go down and follow the passage to the middle area. Here, there will be a large circular gate, but don’t worry as it’s not blocking the way to the middle. Players can simply use the opening on the bottom left to get to the Teleport Waypoint in Genshin Impact.
There isn’t much to do in the underground area of the Court of Fontaine, but there is a Mora box and plenty of investigation points that give either Artifact or fruits and vegetables. Those who have done the follow-up quest for Virgil’s betrayal can also meet Sonny and Luka here.
Apart from the White Glove and the Fisherman, other people appear to inhabit the area as well. For instance, Vitruvia the legal adviser is sitting in front of a collectible book, Robben versus Chesterton: Iridescent Brooch (I). Players can also find another Artifact seller, Crossa, north of the Teleport Waypoint.
