One of the highly anticipated characters in this update is Yae Miko, whose role and abilities closely mirror her gameplay in Genshin Impact. This makes her an excellent character card choice for fans of Yae Miko. Serving as a sub-DPS character similar to Fischl, Yae Miko possesses the ability to summon a powerful off-field Electro totem and unleashes a strong burst with low energy requirement. This makes her a viable replacement for Fischl in many team compositions, while also bringing additional DPS potential to the table.

While the TCG introduces a new set of cards, players will not receive any additional Match Invitation Letters as rewards. Therefore, players must obtain these letters from the card shop in order to invite Yae Miko for a Friendly Faracas match. Fortunately, the Yae Miko card will be available without any level requirement, and with the wide range of additional duels, players can easily accumulate enough coins to invite their favorite characters to a match. By winning the match and completing the other objectives, players can obtain Yae Miko Card and her Talent card.

Yae Miko's Talent Card: The Shrine's Sacred Shade

Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Yae Miko Talent Card

Yae Miko's Talent Card enables her to maintain the totem summon more easily after using her Elemental Burst, as it destroys all stacks of her summon. Since her totems play a significant role in her overall damage output, especially in teams where there is a designated primary on-field character and limited swapping, Yae Miko's talent card proves extremely useful for dice management. It allows players to summon a totem before switching to another character or ending the turn, provided they have an additional die to spare for even more damage over the already devastating Elemental Burst and additional elemental application.

Best Yae Miko Decks

Being a character who can be effectively utilized both on-field and off-field due to her summon ability, Yae Miko offers versatility and fits well in teams that benefit from electro application. She synergizes particularly well with characters like Raiden Shogun, and also pairs effectively with formidable characters such as Kokomi, Zhongli, or Nahida, depending on the desired team composition. It is important to note that Yae Miko can deal additional damage if there are more than four totems present. This means that players should use her elemental skill at least twice to deal additional damage by stacking over 4 totems as well ensure that there is at least one stack of her summon, Sesshou Sakura, before activating her burst for additional damage. The order of character swaps and which character to start with depends on the other character cards in the deck.

Yae Miko + Raiden Shogun + Nahida

Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Yae Raiden Nahida

Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko synergize well in various aspects, including both being Inazuma characters and Electro characters. This synergy grants them access to highly beneficial cards that enhance their consistency and energy generation. Additionally, Nahida can assist both Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun in dealing additional damage by enabling the Aggravate Elemental Reaction. This deck is ideal for players who enjoy utilizing quick swaps, as it does not require them to remain on a specific character for high damage potential. Instead, the focus is on ensuring that all characters can activate their bursts as frequently as possible, thanks to Raiden Shogun's ability to provide 2 Energy to team members.

It is recommended for players to start with Raiden Shogun, activating her Elemental Skill and following up with normal attacks to charge her Burst. This will enable players to quickly accumulate energy for Nahida and Yae Miko, ready to be utilized upon swapping to them. Consequently, this will also empower Raiden Shogun to unleash her Elemental Burst with even greater strength, provided there are still opponents remaining at that point. As this deck lacks any healers however, players are recommended to utilize healing field cards or food cards.

Yae Miko + Kokomi + Mona

Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Yae Kokomi Mona

For players who wish to maximize their summons and maintain a defensive stance while gradually wearing down their opponents' HP, this deck focused on Electro-Recharge is a suitable choice. Thanks to Kokomi's healing abilities, Mona's summon, and the Hydro Resonance, players will have no trouble maintaining high HP throughout battles. Additionally, since all of these characters are Catalyst users, the Weapon card "A Thousand Floating Dreams" can be effectively utilized by any of them.

Generally, there is no specific order that players need to follow when rotating their characters. However, starting with Mona and utilizing her Elemental Skill before swapping to Yae Miko can be more advantageous for initiating damage as early as possible. For players who wish to inflict Bloom damage, using Nahida instead of Mona can also be a great option, as the combination of all reactions can result in a potent gameplay style where opponents suffer additional damage from each elemental reaction.

Yae Miko + Hu Tao + Zhongli

Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Yae Hu Tao Zhongli

While Overload may not be a widely used elemental reaction in Genshin Impact's actual gameplay, it can be a significant option in the TCG against decks that heavily rely on combos. This reaction not only deals significant damage but also forces the opponent to swap characters. To make the most of this, players can start by summoning Yae Miko's "Sesshou Sakura" and stacking it by using her Elemental Skill twice before swapping to Hu Tao. Hu Tao can then stay on the field for an extended period and sustain her HP to some extent thanks to her Elemental Burst. Additionally, Zhongli is an excellent choice for a defensive gameplay style that does not disrupt elemental reactions, allowing Hu Tao to remain on the field even longer without the need to swap.

Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Best Action Cards 2

Depending on the team composition, players have access to great resonance cards, such as "Thunder and Eternity," if there are at least two Inazuma characters in the team, as well as "Elemental Resonance: Woven Thunder" and "Elemental Resonance: High Voltage" if there are at least two Electro characters in the team. Additionally, cards that aid in dice management, such as "Timmie, The Bestest Travel Companion" and "Varanara," as well as cards that boost HP, are highly recommended in most of Yae Miko's team compositions. Moreover, since many of her compositions benefit from quick character swaps, players can consider utilizing generally useful action cards like "Leave it to Me!" and "Changing Shifts."

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
