Genius Invokation TCG has taken the world of Genshin Impact by storm ever since its arrival in version 3.3, and one fan has made their very own physical cards based on the starter deck received in-game. The new card game takes inspiration from traditional tabletop games, so Genshin Impact players may be able to play the card game in real life after skillfully crafting a deck of their own.

Genshin Impact players are introduced to Genius Invokation TCG by starting the "Let's Play Genius Invokation TCG" quest and heading back to Mondstadt. Mondstadt researchers Timaeus and Sucrose greet the player with curiosity about the new game, suggesting the Cat's Tail tavern is the source of the card game's popularity. After heading to the Tavern, Genshin Impact players are taught the basics of Genius Invokation TCG by Diona, the famous cat-like bartender. Once the tutorial is complete, Diona will hand the player a complete starter deck featuring Diluc and Kaeya character cards. These cards are essential for having a competitive start in Genius Invokation TCG, and some fans have already begun to envision a way to play the card game in real life.

Reddit user u/SoulRavenous created her own physical Genius Invokation TCG cards depicting Diluc and Kaeya from Genshin Impact. The "Strategize" and "Katheryne" action cards were also made for a total of four Genius Invokation TCG cards with an uncanny resemblance to those found in the game. Additionally, u/SoulRavenous handcrafted some eight-sided dice featuring the elemental symbols depicting throughout Genshin Impact and Genius Invokation TCG. Although the set of required dice to play Genius Invokation TCG is incomplete, the card set would be sufficient to start playing the card game. However, some restrictions may need to be applied to successfully play the game with another Genshin Impact fan in real life. Click here to see the other images on Reddit.

Genshin Impact Real Life Genius Invokation TCG

Due to Genius Invokation TCG's dependence on eight dice, the card game may be harder to keep up with in real life. Each card skill uses certain elemental dice except for a few action cards with zero dice required. Further, several factors including elemental reactions and skills must be considered when attempting to play the Genshin Impact card game in real life. Unfortunately, the rules of the card game may need to be condensed for a real world version to exist.

Genius Invokation TCG is well-developed in Genshin Impact, but more work may be needed for a real life application of the card game. Nevertheless, u/SoulRavenous's starter deck and dice are skillfully made to replicate its in-game appearance in Genshin Impact, and it's a work to be admired by avid card game players.

Genshin Impact's Genius Invokation TCG is a permanent feature going forward, so future updates should introduce new cards and improvements. These improvements may come as soon as Genshin Impact version 3.4, which introduces Alhaitham as a new playable character.

Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
