Other than artifacts and weapons, there’s another type of equipment in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG. These character-specific cards are called Talent cards; some are small addition, while others can significantly enhance a character’s power.

The insignificant ones are something like Xingqiu’s Talent card. The Guhua Disciple’s Talent card merely increases the DMG reduction from his Skill by one usage. Meanwhile, the great ones can grant noticeable DMG addition, like the following most powerful Talent cards in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG.

8 Mirror Maiden: Mirror Cage

Mirror Maiden may look like a simple character, but she has one of the most disruptive abilities in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG. After using her Talent card, her Skill will create a Refraction effect on the target.

Normally, this debuff increases any Hydro DMG by +1 on the target (for two rounds), but after using her Talent card, there’s an additional debuff: A switch from the affected character to another will cost one extra Dice. So instead of spending one Dice to switch, the enemy now has to spend two. Considering players normally only gain eight Dice per round, having to spend two just for switching can be incredibly annoying.

The debuff also gains +1 round, meaning it will stay for a whopping three rounds. Since a typical duel lasts between five and seven rounds, three rounds of debuff mean it lasts half of the battle, which is terrifying.

7 Ayaka: Kanten Senmyou Blessing

Unlike normal Talent cards, Ayaka’s can be used without her having to be the active character. In fact, it should only be used when she’s not active. If players use this Genshin Impact card when Ayaka is the active character, they will not get the +1 DMG as this bonus only takes effect if players equip it before switching to Ayaka.

On top of a +1 DMG bonus on her Cryo Infusion, Ayaka’s Talent card comes with a zero-cost switch. Pair Mona with this card, and activating Ayaka’s passive will be a breeze.

6 Diluc: Flowing Flame

Diluc’s Skill has a DMG addition when he casts it three times in a row, but in normal circumstances, it’s not an easy feat. This is because players should pair this ability with Diluc’s Talent card. With his special effect, Diluc’s second Skill cast will cost one Dice less. If Ellin is available, Diluc’s second Skill can now be used with merely one Pyro Dice in Genshin Impact.

Although most of the time, players likely won’t be casting Diluc’s Skill three times in a row, two Skill casts for four Dice is still a great deal.

5 Maguu Kenki: Transcendent Automaton

Although it can be hard to manage, on the right hand, Maguu Kenki’s Talent card is beyond powerful in Genshin Impact. Players can enjoy both a free and fast switch between characters after the Automaton casts Elemental Skill. An Anemo Skill cast will switch to the next character, while the Cryo Skill will switch to the previous.

This incredibly powerful effect can be used for players to easily trigger Elemental reactions while ensuring a smooth switch. The only downside is if players aren’t adept at managing their move, Maguu Kenki’s Talent card may be harmful instead of beneficial.

4 Collei: Floral Sidewinder

Collei is an amazing sub-DPS in Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG. She provides a reliable Dendro application, and her Talent card further enhances this feature. Now, after casting her Elemental Skill, if a Dendro-related reaction occurs this round, Collei will deal one extra Dendro DMG.

However, note that the reaction has to involve Dendro aura. For example, triggering Bloom and Quickened will trigger the effect, but dealing extra DMG via Catalyzing field or Burgeon and Hyperbloom will not.

3 Chongyun: Steady Breathing

Chongyun is a reliable source of Cryo Infusion, making it easy for players to play with Permafreeze. However, with his Talent card, Chongyun’s Infusion is now a formidable effect that duelers should pay attention to. Instead of two rounds of Infusion, Chongyun’s Cryo field now lasts for three, and any Normal Attack DMG dealt by Polearm/Sword/Claymore characters in Genshin Impact will also gain a +1 DMG bonus.

Note that the damage boost applies as long as the character is a melee unit, even if the Infusion is overridden. For example, if Noelle uses her Burst, her Normal Attack will deal +5 Geo DMG instead of +3 Cryo DMG.

2 Bennett: Grand Expectation

Bennett has an amazing healing/buffing field that lasts for two rounds, but players can further make it overpowered by using Bennett’s Talent card. Normally, Bennett’s Burst will either buff or heal depending on the characters’ HP, but with the card, he can now do both at the same time. For example, if a Keqing with 5 HP uses her Elemental Skill, she will now gain +2 DMG and heal +2 HP at the same time.

If players are lucky enough to get this Genshin Impact card while playing Bennett, rest assured, it will be irritating for the opponent.

1 Ganyu: Undivided Heart

Ganyu’s Talent card immensely increases her power in Genshin Impact, although it does come with one condition: the buff will only trigger after casting Charged Attack once. Afterward, it will increase Ganyu’s Charged Attack’s Cryo and Piercing DMG by +1. Considering the Qilin’s immense power, this basically means players will only use Ganyu’s Charged Attack twice, but that’s exactly why this Talent card is the most powerful of them all.

This effect comes at no extra cost too, so like normal Charged Attack, players only have to spend five Cryo Dice to benefit from it.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
