As a Gacha game, the Resin system is a core gameplay mechanic of Genshin Impact. Players need to use Resin to do most of the game's activities. Initially, it wasn't possible to save Resin, so players had to log in every day to spend their Resins, or they would lose that day's progression.Later on, Condensed Resin was introduced to help a little bit with the issue. Nevertheless, to this day, fans ask for a better Resin system and more endgame content that doesn't require Resin. For new players, Genshin Impact is generous with the number of Fragile Resins given to them. So they must use it with caution and spend it in the right place and time.
How To Get Fragile Resin in Genshin Impact
Fragile Resins are accessible through various means in Genshin Impact. Still, they're not that common to get. To obtain Fragile Resin, players can advance through Adventure Ranks, level the Sacred Sakura tree, finish the Battle Pass missions, or by having a birthday.
Adventure Rank
After Adventure Rank 12, players start to get Fragile Resins occasionally. Then, after AR20, Fragile Resin will be rewarded on each Rank. Reaching AR29, players will start getting two Fragile Resins on every Rank, up until AR60.
A total of 76 Fragile Resins can be obtained when players level up their Adventure Ranks. Although it sounds great, players should keep in mind not to spend their Fragile Resins until they reach AR45.
After Rank 45, the highest level of Artifact Domains will be available. This is the best time to farm Artifacts as Travelers are guaranteed to get one 5-star item on every run.
Battle Pass
Battle Pass is another source to obtain Fragile Resin. It contains up to 15 Fragiles, five in the free version, five in the paid version (Gnostic Hymn), and another five in the premium paid version (Gnostic Chorus). The Battle Pass also offers many other valuable resources and can save a lot of Resin for players who buy it.
To advance in the Genshin Impact Battle Pass, players must finish the daily and weekly missions. Additionally, each Battle Pass will have its own BP period bonuses that considerably boost players' progression.
Sacred Sakura
Once players reach AR30, they can offer their Electro Sigils to the Sacred Sakura in Grand Narukami Shrine to obtain some materials. Every few levels, the Sacred Sakura will offer a Fragile Resin as a reward, up to five.
Other Ways
At the start of the game, Travelers can choose their birthday dates. On that day every year, players will receive a Birthday Cake. They can use this cake to get one Fragile Resin. Don't worry, though. Players won't lose their cake by doing so.
Other than that, people can also buy bundles with real-life money that contain Fragile Resins and other materials.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
