To trigger the Fountain Flowing Again Quest in Genshin Impact, players must approach the broken fountain near Marcotte Station and interact with it. However, the Archon Quest “As Light Rain Falls Without Reason” must be complete, otherwise, the Fountain Flowing Again won’t trigger.
The Archon Quest is quite long and complicated since Travelers are thrown into a crime scene and forced to collect pieces of evidence and link clues to find the murderer. On the day of the trial, Paimon and the Traveler will earnestly identify loopholes and refute false claims in Genshin Impact. “As Light Rain Falls Without Reason” is a great introductory quest to Fontaine and the Hydro Archon.
How To Complete Fountain Flowing Again Quest In Genshin Impact
To reach the broken fountain, head east from the Marcotte Station and interact with it. A Genshin Impact character named Remaudiere will approach players and explain what happened.
He then guides players to Edel who says that there is a problem with the valve and proceeds to drag travelers to Estelle’s shop. The blacksmith, unfortunately, had to give the valve to an important customer and promised to make another one.
Offer three Iron Chunks to Estelle and wait for the valve to finish. Once it’s done, Edel returns to the broken fountain and fixes everything alongside Estelle. Thankfully, the water starts running and Remaudiere is immensely relieved, until his little sister appears and tells him to do the magic trick again.
What Happened During Fountain Flowing Quest
It turns out that Remaudiere once took his little sister secretly out of the house while his parents were at the opera. He wanted to show his sister a magic trick and pretend to stop the fountain while secretly knowing the fountain’s timing.
Sadly, it broke and stopped working, causing the young magician to break in sweat as his parents will find out about this adventure as soon as his sister goes back home and tells the magic trick. Luckily, the valve was only deformed and in desperate need of a change.
