A new leak from Genshin Impact has revealed finer details of the gameplay for one of the game's upcoming characters, Faruzan. With the Version 3.3 closed beta test set to launch shortly following the live release of Version 3.2 tomorrow, Genshin Impact has slowly started to reveal what players can expect in the game's following update. Faruzan was revealed Monday morning alongside Wanderer, better known as the Fatui Harbinger Scaramouche, as the two newest characters joining the game in Version 3.3. Now, leakers have given a closer look at how Faruzan will play.
While Genshin Impact players are very familiar with Scaramouche for his role in the Inazuma and Sumeru stories, Faruzan comes as a relatively new character. Not much is known about her besides her role as a member of Sumeru's Akademiya and her mysterious disappearance. Despite her absence from Genshin Impact so far, she is mentioned in some characters' voicelines with Cyno discussing the circumstances and his own suspicions surrounding her disappearance. Now, a recent leak has revealed the first details of Faruzan's kit.
Prominent Genshin Impact leaker Niana revealed the first details of Faruzan's kit, confirming her as Genshin's newest Bow user and describing her abilities. Her Elemental Skill sends out a polyhedron which deals Anemo damage and empowers her next Charged Attack. The Skill provides her Charged Attack with a bonus effect called "Pressurized Collapse," which creates a small field dealing Anemo damage and pulling enemies in on-hit. Faruzan's Elemental Burst creates a "Dazzling Polyhedron," which moves in a triangular path and deals Anemo damage and debuffs to enemies while buffing allies' Anemo damage.
The leak also gives details about Faruzan's passive abilities and Constellations as well. Her Ascension bonuses provide her with a shorter charge time for her Charged Attacks while her Elemental Skill's buff is active and a stronger Anemo buff on her Burst. Her exploration passive grants increased rewards for sending her on Expeditions to Sumeru for 20 hours. Faruzan's Constellations give benefits ranging from more charged shots on her Elemental Skill to buffing teammates' Energy Recharge and Crit damage while her abilities are active.
Faruzan's gameplay details are the most recent in a number of major leaks related to the gameplay of upcoming Genshin Impact characters. Scaramouche has already seen multiple leaks revealing different parts of his kit leading up to the character's reveal. Even characters believed to be several patches away like Dehya and Yaoyao have seen details of their gameplay leaked throughout recent weeks. Faruzan will look to provide an interesting asset to Anemo-centric teams when she releases with Version 3.3 in December.
