A Genshin Impact fan has created an interesting concept combining two popular characters from Sumeru: Cyno and Tighnari. Both of the characters were added as part of the recently released Sumeru nation, and they play a significant role in the region's overall storyline.
Genshin Impact's fan base is known for creating its own pieces of art inspired by the designs and stories of the existing characters in the world of Teyvat. The game features a cel-shaded type of non-photorealistic rendering technique which gives it an anime-like appearance.
Reddit user KaedeKatsuki has shared an interesting concept that combines the design of the Dendro character Tighnari and the Electro user Cyno. The creator of the concept is known in the game's community for creating similar types of concepts. In this particular design, they have implemented Cyno's color theme into Tighnari's splash art which made the famous Forest Watcher look like an Electro character. Despite being one of the smartest characters in the whole region, Tighnari prefers living in the Avidya Forest rather than in Sumeru Akademiya where most scholars do their work. As the Forest Watcher, Tighnari knows a lot about various species of plants and animals which does not come as a surprise since he spends almost all of his time in Sumeru's rainforests. He is one of the first Sumeru characters that players encounter in their journey through the Dendro region.
When it comes to his power on the field, Tighnari is the only five-star DPS character that uses the new Dendro element at the moment. Even though he was a limited five-star character in version 3.0, developer HoYoverse decided to place him on the Standard Banner after the update ended. This change was welcomed by a lot of fans since it increases the pool of Standard Banner characters meaning that losing a 50-50 on the Limited Banner can drop this unique Dendro character.
Just like Tighnari, Cyno also plays a part in the Sumeru storyline. He is also known as General Mahamatra who leads the Matra officers whose main job is to enforce the Akademya's integrity. Cyno is also a DPS character with a playstyle that is very similar to an older four-star character named Razor which gave him the nickname "five-star Razor".
Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development.
