Eremites are one of the primary enemies introduced in Genshin Impact's Sumeru region. As common enemies, they are usually easy to find in both Sumeru's Forest and Desert areas, and can be defeated with little effort. Although there are different types of Eremite enemies, they are quite similar to Treasure Hoarders in the sense that their abilities do not differ to a large extent, even though some may have different attack patterns.

Players will often encounter Eremites in groups, typically found around camps in various areas of the Sumeru map. Upon defeating them, they will drop a red cloth piece in different rarities, namely Faded Red Satin, Rich Red Brocade, and Trimmed Red Silk. The rarity of the item drop depends on the enemy (or world) level, as well as the players' luck. The elite versions of these enemies have a higher chance to drop the higher rarity versions, similar to how the Kairagi enemy type elites do. Overall, this material is required for many Genshin Impact characters introduced in the Sumeru arc, such as Dehya, as well as for certain weapons. Luckily, being one of the primary common enemies of the region, they can be found in almost everywhere, allowing players to pick the routes that is most convenient to them while being able to gather enough even in shorter farming sessions.

Eremite Locations In Sumeru Rainforest

Genshin Impact_ Treasure Hoarder Locations in Sumeru Rainforest-1

In the Sumeru Forest, players can follow a few specific farming routes in order to find them more quickly. This is because the Eremite locations in the forest are more spread out, allowing for distinct routes to be established. Players should note that they do not need to unlock any underground teleport points to access these Eremite locations.

Eremite Locations in Yazadaha Pool

One of the largest farming routes in the Forest is around the region of Yazadaha Pool; however, players will need to utilize teleport points multiple times in order to collect them all. Starting from the southernmost location in this map, players can then move towards the Statue of Seven in this area to defeat a particularly large group of Eremites and a few along the way. The teleport point west of Sumeru city needs to be utilized several times, although players can also make their way to this teleport point from the Statue of Seven before moving on to the next locations.

There are also a few Eremite groups that can be reached from the southern teleport point below Sumeru city, as well as another one at the most southwestern point of the map above.

All Eremite locations are quite close to the teleport points in this area following the arrow directions.

These Eremites are spread out in a line, and as such, players can simply follow a straightforward route through the Teleport Points to locate all of the Eremites in this region.

Eremite Locations in Devantaka Mountain

Eremites in this area are also quite spread out and considerably farther from the teleport points compared to other locations. As such, they can be skipped if players are short on time and do not need to collect as many materials. However, for those who wish to farm them, they can start from the southern teleport point near the Aeonblight Drake boss location (not the underground one) and follow the arrows as designated on the map. There are also two more Eremites that are easily accessible through the teleport point north of the ancient ruin guard remnants.

Eremite Locations in Apam Woods (South) and Ardravi Valley

There are three quick and easy-to-follow routes in these two areas, however, players will need to teleport to the highest teleport point near Port Ormos twice to follow the route

Eremite Locations near Old Vanarana

This particular location doesn't really have a name on its own, but the closest recognizable area is the Old Vanarana. Players simply need to head to the north teleport point in this area and follow the arrow route to pick up most of the Eremites on the way. There is also another Eremite near the other teleport point in this area if players simply glide down from the teleport point.

There are more Eremites located in a large area between Caravan Ribat all the way to Pardis Dhyai. In this area, most Eremites can be accessed through the teleport point high up on the hill by simply gliding towards the designated directions. Additionally, players can find two more groups spanning this area, one by going northwest from the Statue of Seven, and another group to the south from the teleport point on the west that borders the Great Red Desert Area.

Eremite Locations In The Great Red Sand

Players will be happy to know that this particular part of the Sumeru region has a lot of Eremite locations, which players will likely come across while exploring the area for other reasons. As such, it is particularly difficult to create a specific farming route for this section of the map. However, most of them are still concentrated in the southeast area of the region, and players should come across them quickly by utilizing the nearby teleport points. Another rule of thumb in this area is to follow the paths visible on the map, as many of the Eremites will often be near these paths, making it easier to locate them. Occasionally, players can also make good use of the four-leaf sigils to traverse the desert, making it quicker to travel between different areas.

Eremite Locations In The Desert of Hadramaveth

Similar to the Great Red Sand, this region of the desert is also quite crowded with Eremites. However, this time players have an easier route to follow as many of them are located near the Tanit Camps, and can be quickly accessed through the nearest teleport points in these areas. As for the remaining Eremites, players will once again need to follow the existing paths on the map as a guide, particularly the most inner circling route to come across most of them. The rest may be a bit more spread out, but they can be easily accessed by following the paths from the nearest teleport points.

Eremite Locations In The Girdle of the Sands

Unlike the previous desert areas, the latest introduced desert map consisting of Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert does not have nearly as many spots for players to farm. However, players can simply follow the routes marked with the arrows to find all groups of Eremites in both areas of Girdle of the Sands, which are quickly accessible from the nearby Teleport Points.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
